A Shattered Flag

This piece represents the shattered hopes and dreams of the Lebanese people, symbolized by the fragmented Lebanese flag glued to foamcore and cut to look like broken glass. The painting reflects the deep frustration and despair felt by the citizens as they watch their once beautiful country deteriorate due to corruption and pain.
Lebanon was once renowned for its beauty, diversity, and prosperity, but now the people feel broken, as they struggle to put the pieces back together and find a way forward. The painting also serves as a call to action and a symbol of hope. Just as the broken pieces of the flag can be put back together, so too can the nation be restored. It’s a powerful representation of the challenges facing Lebanon and a testament to the resilience and determination of its people, inspiring us to work towards a better future.
Time Marches On

I built this clock in my woodshop class and decided to paint it to achieve a distressed look, and added vegetation in order to make it look old and overgrown.
The piece represents the idea that time marches on, and that nothing is permanent or immune to its effects. The message is to appreciate the present and make the most of the time we have, to live in the moment rather than worry about the future or dwell on the past. Change is inevitable and time is always moving forward.

Its distinctive form and ample storage space makes it a statement of style and serves as a display for decorative items. The fact that it was sold to a physics teacher shows appreciation for functional and well-made objects, and adds a personal touch.

“Chained World” is a powerful conceptual piece that symbolizes the impact of evil and corruption on our planet. The soccer ball painted as the earth is strangled by the chain with the snake head, symbolizing the forces of evil. The snake is a common symbol of deceit, treachery, and evil, and in this context, reflects the destructive impact that these forces can have on the world.
The chains suggest that the influence of these negative forces is all-encompassing and that they have the power to control and manipulate the most important aspects of our world. This artwork is warning about the dangers of corruption and their impact.
Holy Spirit

The dove is a powerful symbol in many religious traditions, and in the Catholic faith it represents the Holy Spirit. The depiction of the dove in this work, with its wings spread out, is a powerful reminder of the presence of the Holy Spirit and its ability to bring peace to the earth and to our lives.
The use of feathers was chosen not only because of the dove connection, but also because feathers are often associated with lightness and grace, which are qualities that we can associate with the Holy Spirit. The golden accents add a touch of richness to the piece, symbolizing the divine nature of the Holy Spirit.

The TV/entertainment unit I constructed is hand-crafted using pine wood, using traditional woodworking tools and techniques. The minimalist design, with its clean lines and low profile, presents a modern aesthetic that will enhance any interior space.
The spacious top surface offers ample room to accommodate your television set or to display any piece of art, while the attention to detail in the design, including precise angles and subtle curves, highlights the unit’s sophistication. The process of fabrication was timeconsuming, however, the result is a uniquely stunning and durable.

These pieces were created digitally for my media arts class, where I designed a logo and a poster supporting indigenous people. We must recognize the land which we stand on today. Every Child Counts means that every child is important and deserves equal opportunities. This is especially important for Indigenous children in Canada, who have faced challenges and injustices. The message is a call to action for society to support Indigenous children and address the barriers that limit their opportunities.

The Lebanese Maronite Cross is a meaningful symbol of faith and cultural identity for Maronite Catholics of Lebanese decent. Made of cedar wood, which is depicted in the flag of Lebanon, the cross resembles a cedar tree and represents the strength, resilience, and hope of the Lebanese people.
The cross is a reminder of the Maronite Catholic’s devotion to Jesus Christ and their connection to their religious heritage, emphasizing community, love, and compassion. For a Lebanese Catholic Maronite, the cross holds special significance, representing a connection to cultural and spiritual heritage, beliefs, and a commitment to one’s faith. It is a physical manifestation of identity, and a symbol of the connection to one’s ancestors and their rich history and traditions.

This unique piece of furniture has been designed and built to serve dual purposes. The mechanism incorporated in the design allows for a seamless transition from the tabletop to an open shelf, to a closed high table position. Constructed entirely out of wood, this piece demonstrates a high level of technical skill and craftsmanship. The channels in the table enable the mechanism to smoothly slide the tabletop. This multi-functional shelf/table is an innovative solution for those looking to maximize their space while incorporating versatile and practical furniture into their home or office.

This image captures a moment of reflection from my recent trip to Puerto Plata, a stunning destination that offered a blend of both natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. During my time there, I was able to immerse myself in the local scenery and soak up the tropical sun as I lounged on the pristine sandy shores of the beach. In addition to relaxation, I took the opportunity to explore some of the area’s historical sites, gaining a deeper appreciation for the region’s unique history and culture. The highlight of my trip was staying at a luxurious resort, where I was able to indulge in the comforts of the hotel’s top-notch amenities while still being surrounded by the lush tropical landscape. The image of me in the center, surrounded by both the paradisiacal beach and the charming architecture of the resort, serves as a testament to the balance of relaxation and exploration that I experienced during my time in Puerto Plata.
