Haags werk op de salone del mobile 2012 De Salone del Mobile 2012 was de eerste beurs waar Haags Werk zich heeft gepresenteerd. De ontwerpers die hebben bijgedragen aan de presentatie zijn: Marlies van der Linden & Raúl Wallaart, Celine van Raamt, Tiddo de Ruiter, Inge Simonis, Barbara Vos en Geanne Welles. Samen presenteerden zij hun nieuwste werk op het gebied van productontwerp, keramiek, textiel, meubelontwerp en architectuur. Dit boek is een visueel naslagwerk van deze presentatie met een overzicht van het al eerder gepubliceerde persmateriaal, de opbouw van de presentatie op de beurslocatie, de presentatie van Haags Werk tijdens de beursdagen, het afbreken van de presentatie, een glimp van het leven in Milaan buiten de beurstijden en als laatste het evaluatiediner als bedankje voor iedereen die deze presentatie tot een succes heeft gemaakt.
Haags Werk hoopt met de presentaties van puur Haags ontwerp aan de buitenwereld te laten zien dat Den Haag een opkomende designstad is. Daarnaast wil Haags Werk jonge Haagse ontwerpers de mogelijkheid bieden om op grote beurzen te staan met hun nieuwste werk. Het motto hierbij is ‘Samen staan we sterk’. Haags Werk is een initiatief van Tiddo de Ruiter, Dennis Slootweg, Barbara Vos en Geanne Welles en is gehuisvest in ateliercomplex de Besturing.
