APPLY FOR FINANCIAL
AID AND
SCHOLARSHIPS.
Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and Boise State Scholarship Application by February 15 to be considered for the greatest number of need-based scholarships and the most financial aid possible. The FAFSA opens in late fall. You will still be considered for some federal needbased aid if you submit the FAFSA after this February date.
Boise State will award you the maximum aid for which you are eligible. You will be notified via BroncoMail when your aid is ready to accept, and you’re free to accept or decline the aid that is best for you.

Submit your FAFSA at fafsa.gov
Step 3
Complete the Boise State Scholarship Checklist by February 15 by going to boisestate.edu/scholarships


2 SUBMIT YOUR INTENT TO
CONFIRMATION.
Reserve your spot in the incoming class by submitting the online ITE, along with the $100 enrollment confirmation. Both are due by May 1 and are required of students planning to enroll for fall 2025. You’ll receive an email with instructions to complete the ITE confirmation.

• Allows you to apply for on-campus housing; registration opens in early spring
• Allows you to sign up for a summer orientation program
• Secures Boise State scholarships you’ve been offered
• Ensures quick processing of your final enrollment materials
• Helps us plan for the incoming class—so even if you’re enrolling elsewhere, please let us know your plans!


3 APPLY FOR HOUSING. 4 SIGN UP FOR ORIENTATION.
The online housing application opens in early spring after submitting your ITE. Be on the look out for email updates with additional details. Explore our various housing options and living learning programs to best prepare for the application when it opens.
HOUSING PAYMENTS
Your first housing payment is due prior to move-in. Monthly payments are due on the 25th of every month (July through April). Housing charges will be posted in early July. Check your Student Center account regularly through my.boisestate.edu to view posted charges.
HOW TO APPLY
Step 1
Go to boisestate.edu/housing.
Step 2
Submit the non-refundable application fee. Your payment must be received before Housing and Residence Life can process your application and make an assignment.
This is your academic and social orientation to Boise State University and where you will register for your first semester classes. As a new Bronco, you are expected to participate in orientation.
HOW TO SIGN UP
Step 1
In March, admitted students who have submitted their Intent to Enroll should check their email for a an official link to log in and sign up.
Step 2
Choose a program that works with your summer plans.
Step 3
Continue to check your email for important steps you’ll need to complete leading up to your orientation.

Have your school send in your final transcript (i.e., AP scores, IB scores, college credit earned). If you have earned any college credits while still in high school or have previously attended a college, request official transcripts from each institution be sent to Boise State.
Electronic transcripts can be sent using a secure delivery service or sent directly from your institution in a sealed envelope to the following address:

Meet academic advisors, staff and fellow new students through the orientation process! Your first academic advising session will happen during orientation, and you’ll be able to register for your first semester of classes.
