NEXT STEPS TO BECOMING A BLUE TURF THINKER

Spring ‘25 important dates, deadlines and timelines

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ADMISSION TO BOISE STATE!

Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the priority date of October 1 to be considered for all scholarships and financial aid opportunities.

If you submit the FAFSA after October 1, you will still be considered for some federal need-based aid.

Boise State will award you the maximum aid for which you are eligible. You will be notified via BroncoMail when your aid is ready to be accepted. You

can then choose to accept or decline the aid that best suits your needs.

THE STEPS

- Set up a my.boisestate.edu account.

- Submit your FAFSA at fafsa.gov

- Complete your Scholarship Checklist at boisestate.edu/scholarships

Reserve your spot in the incoming class by submitting the online Intent to Enroll, along with the $100 enrollment confirmation. Both are due by December 1 and are required of students planning to enroll for spring 2024. You’ll receive an email with instructions and a link to complete the Intent to Enroll and to submit your enrollment confirmation.

INTENT TO ENROLL

- Secures your place in the incoming class

- Allows you to sign up for an orientation program and apply to live on campus

- Secures any scholarships that you’ve been offered*

- Ensures processing of your final enrollment materials

- Helps us plan for the incoming class (so even if you’re enrolling elsewhere, please let us know your plans!)

The Spring Housing 2025 application will open for first-year students and sophomores and above in October.

- A $75 nonrefundable application fee is due when you apply for university housing.

- Your application will not be processed until the application fee is received.

HOUSING ASSIGNMENTS AND PAYMENTS

- Housing assignments begin in November based on availability.

- Your first housing payment is due before move-in.

- If you opt into the payment plan, monthly payments are due from December through April on the 25th of each month.

- Housing charges will be posted in early December.

- Check your Student Center regularly through my.boisestate.edu to view posted charges.

Due to limited availability, we cannot guarantee on-campus housing to everyone who applies. The Boise State Off-Campus Marketplace is a resource that will help students search for apartments near campus.
