It’s bedtime Blanchette shouts dad..

Aww dad! Can’t I have five more minutes please? begs Blanchette.

Dad fetches a book from the bookshelf, come on I’ll read you a story says dad.

Which story tonight? asks Blanchette.

The story of Little Red Riding Hood says dad.

Why is she called Little Red Riding Hood? Blanchette

It’s because she is a small girl and she wears a red hood made for riding explains dad.

But what does she ride?

Asks Blanchette.

She rides a horse of course laughs dad.

But how do you know? asks Blanchette.

It’s obvious says dad plus dads know everything so yes she definitely rides a horse.

Hmmmm says Blanchette‌

I think she rides a bike says Blanchette.

A red bike.

Or maybe a racing car laughs dad, brum brum

Dad makes a silly engine noise, he thinks he’s so funny.

NO NO she rides a rocket giggles Blanchette.

A red rocket.

Or maybe a roller coaster says dad, and he makes another whoooshing noise.

Blanchette!
