How To Include Children In A Wedding Ceremony When I consider children at wedding ceremonies, I picture beautiful little children frolicking on moving lawns and busting lovable moves on the dance floor donning cute couture dresses and Page Boy Suits. I can as well picture them weeping very loudly through the event and knocking over the wedding cake while playing tag! Kids could be both wonderful and erratic so keep reading for the etiquette, practicalities and enjoyable of children at weddings. THE GUEST LIST It’s constantly tricky finding the murky waters of who to invite. We wanted almost all twelve of our nieces and also nephews to be a part of our day but began to get uneasy when considering the cost of including our friends’ children too. Is it rude to not invite them as well even though this means we’ll have 30 hyperactive kids on the wedding day? For us, this amount was simply excessive so we included merely our friends and their associates on the invitation and spoke with them separately about the situation. They all understood when we informed them we had to make it “family only” concerning children. The inclusion of all young relatives on the guest list in spite of your own personal relationship with them usually means that no family drama. It also doesn’t truly matter the number of little girls or boys are dressed as attendants as it can make them really feel special to be a part of your day. Finally, in case you are getting married in a gallery room or a paddock, parents need to consider logistics for keeping kids secure and happy. Ask them if they want any details about the ceremony and reception spaces – they will value your thoughtfulness! THE CEREMONY Sometimes even self-confident kids could get stage fright in terms of walking down the aisle – petrified and teary is not a very good look, however, it can occur ! Give them time for you to practice so they feel at ease , and if they are aged three and under, it’s smart to ask somebody they know to walk along with them . A parent may also be waiting at the other end of the aisle to gather them.
