While working at Affirmative Action Register, I was responsible for typography, data input, ad design, digitizing logo/emblems (by my own choice), helping with mechanical production, and, finally, web production- essentially exporting all publication stories into HTML format ensuring place ad were accurately linked. This job really emphasized production over design, but in what spare time I had, I tried at least to incorporated some ad differentiation, or what some may refer to as design. In the beginning everything was old fashioned, cut and paste, which often lead to a somewhat hectic production time-frame. Realizing this, I started recreating logos/emblems in Illustrator, usually omnipresent advertisers and then remade logos/emblems which were Print In and not camera ready. the Web end ofProduction my short seven month period working at this job, I produced about 200 logos/emblems in EPS format and some in a TIFF format so that design technics, such as masks and half-toning, became less painless.

In 1988, Mark Rudolph, a longtime friend, was in town from New York to video several scripts he had written. One of these scripts was entitled “Stranded”. I helped assemble a cast and props for him, the former was courtesy of newly graduated SLU theatre troop with whom I had become acquainted In short, I preformed the role of pre-casting scout. My greatest contribution towards Mark’s end was that of site creator of his many videos and audio works.

Mary Schnitzler Mary has become a well respected actress within the St. Louis Community, staring in numerous roles in which she has received critical recognition.

STRANDED (Not available) Since Mark was also starring as well directing, I, by default, was second cameraman

In the past, Mark Rudolph created content for WFMU-TV. His work has been televised on the Bravo channel and Splitscreen (producer of “Roger and Me”), an independent network which serves the independent film maker. For the past ten years, Mark has been part of the New York crew of videographer for the day time Emmy Awards.

Click Picture to View Movie This page contains work which, at first, was intended for my family (la-

Father’s Daybor of love). My mother and I collected fading images spanning my dad’s life . I simply digitized= them, cleaned them up a bit, and made an album for him.....after collecting this mass of visuals, I made a two minute film-using Adobe Premiere.... exercising software. Due to the constraints of file size, the movie is highly compressed, so keep this in mind while viewing. Just goes to show- you can do a lot with a little. Click image above to play. Requires Quicktime 2.5 or higher
