A

Balcony system A was designed for buildings which have a one side open balcony or a corner balcony. The system is very suitable for apartments and condominiums where there is a requirement for the balustrade to look modern & striking.

Using wire infill for the balustrade balcony system, alongside stainless steel balusters, adds transparency, increasing the available view whilst remaining very safe for high floor balconies.

System A also uses a continuous handrail, increasing aesthetic appeal and safety for the dwelling owner. The system is incredibly strong, safe & easy to install and because all of the component parts are made form 316 Stainless steel, the system will endure any weather for many years.

Because the application which iss open on just one side is for single sided balconies and incorporates wire infill, system B is very elegant with maximum transparency.

Wire infill and steel balusters allow for a panoramic view from the balcony, barely obscuring views for its owners.

Furthermore, for warmer countries, the lack of a paneled balustrade structure, e.g., Glass means that wind and fresh air are able to circulate freely.

This system is a viable alternative to paneled systems, potentially adding value to any apartment or condo because of increased aesthetic and functional advantages over paneled systems.

System B can be easily installed and again, because of the use of 316 Stainless in all components, the system has a high resistance to corrosive environmental circumstances that might leave other systems tarnished, or worse still in need of repair.

Balcony System C has been designed for apartments and condominiums with larger balcony alcony areas. In particular, its most suitable for long terraces and those built with corners.

This system has real functional & aesthetic etic appeal due to the continuous wires which run n the entire length of the balcony perimeter. Because se of the use of wire infill as opposed to paneled sections, ectionss, balcony system C helps the terrace look and feel very open, promoting panoramic views and a feeling g of increased space. In warmer climates, the wire infill also aids the movement of air throughoutt the area, supporting a relaxing balcony / terrace environment.

Balcony system C continues to champion on the trend for transparency, safety and functionality ty whilst remaining easy to install and weather resistant. Like Lik all of the Strudyna balcony systems, the use of 316 stainless steel in the system component means that the system will continue to look great and perform its primary functions for many years, with little maintenance required.

Balcony System D was developed for use in public areas, helping to create a modern visually appealing system that also compliments any existing building infrastructure. For use indoor or outside in public areas, Strudyna Balcony System D continues to promote maximum transparency, a departure from traditional paneled or solid balustrade which can restrict view’s and the movement of air.

System D, like the systems detailed previously in this brochure, is very strong and safe with a tensioned wire infill.

Wire infill promotes transparency and unrestricted views beyond any perimeter. In warmer countries, the wire infill also helps aid the movement of air in any space, helping to keep the environment cool and relaxing.

Made with 316 stainless steel components, balcony system D is incredibly strong & corrosion resistant; the system is also very easy to install and maintain. These features arevery desirable in public areas, especially if the balustrade is very large as this equals a significant saving in terms of installation and ongoing operational expenditure. The system will continue to look great and last for years even in harsh environmental circumstances.

Select the type of Strudyna Balcony System which is most suitable for your terrace or balcony.

Refer to the criteria laid out in the standard IBC of America for the conditions governing balcony design and installation. These conditions and recommendations have been summarized below.

The condition of balcony installation

1) Function : (See picture no.1) The balcony is appropriate with the private area and the public area; e.g. building, apartment or condominium. The height of balcony is specified as following this.

Private area Private area 1.1 The private area should apply to the height of balcony at 900 mm.

H 900 mm.

H 1,100 mm.

1.2 The public area should apply to the height of balcony at 1100 mm.

2) The strength of the pole: (See the picture no.2) 2.1 The force all directions at 0.85 kN/m (product is not damage.)

3) The gap: (See the picture no.3) 3.1 The gap between the cable; the width should not be over 102 mm. (our product has the gap at 100 mm.)

3.2 The gap between the poles should not be over 1200 mm. If it is over 1200 mm, it should have the pole at the centre.

4) The size of handrails: The handrails as round type, the diameter should be 35-40 mm. For the other handrails should measure the perimeter between 102-160 mm.

5) The quantity of connector for the pole and wall For 5.1 Link adjuster used for connecting between pole and wall ce A ll di - Height of the pole 900mm use 2 pcs - Height of the pole 1,100mm use 3 pcs rect ions 5.2 Link angle 90 degree connect at the angle of the pole 0.89 - Height of the pole 900mm use 3 pcs - Height of the pole 1,100mm use 5 pcs kN/ m.

6) The point of angle for the top handrail has to use the connector every points: (See the picture no.5) 6.1 The balcony type A use the Link plate for connecting.

All gap = 100 mm.

6.2 The balcony type B use the Stanchion angle link L shape for connecting.

7) Stainless steel anchor: (See picture no.6) 7.1 Use Chemical anchor- the length from the edge of cement to the drilling hole is between 50-80mm.

7.2 Use Metal anchor – the length from the edge of the cement to the drilling hole 80mm up.

8) Cable fitting (EM6): (See picture no.4) 8.1 Use with the cable 1x19.

8.2 Cable dia 3.4mm .(for the mock up sample we use cable dia 3mm) 8.3 The length of cable 3.4mm dia.per piece is not over 2400mm.

8.4 The height of balcony 900mm, use the cable 8 pcs.

8.5 The height of balcony 1100mm, use the cable 10 pcs.

9) The whole structure: ( Balcony system type A, B, C & D ) 9.1 All the parts with the thread, the thread have to be right hand thread.
