Dear Team,
As our story continues to unfold, we are reminded that the true magic of Electrosales lies not in our buildings, stock or our systems, but in the people who bring them to life. Every achievement, every step forward, and every milestone reached is a testament to your passion, your resilience, and the belief that together we can create something extraordinary.
This spirit shines brightly in the opening of our 25th branch in Marondera, a milestone that represents more than expansion. It echoes new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and new members joining our Electrosales family. Each new branch adds yet another brick to the strong foundation we are building together, one made of teamwork, connection, and shared purpose.
The transformation of Electrosales Westgate into its bold new home is another reminder of what is possible when people unite behind a common vision. This milestone showcased your adaptability, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to excellence. It demonstrated that when our people move as one, the bricks we lay become even stronger, and the structures we build stand tall with pride.
Across these pages, we highlight stories that reflect the heart of who we are, stories of courage, community, service, and triumph. From team features like United We Flow, and Celebrating Success to moments of wellness and community involvement, each piece shows how the bricks of our culture- integrity, teamwork, and genuine care are lived out every day.
As a team, we are more than colleagues, we are a community connected by the bricks that hold our organisation together. Each brick tells a story: valuing our people, embracing a flexible and innovative spirit, giving back to our communities, doing the right thing, operating as one, building strong partnerships, offering excellent customer service, and honouring the trust of our shareholders. Together, these bricks form the solid foundation on which we stand. We lift one another, learn from each other, and build a workplace where collaboration, kindness, and shared purpose allow us to rise stronger every day.
Thank you for being the heartbeat of Electrosales. Thank you for your courage, your creativity, and your belief in what we can achieve together. With each chapter we write, one thing remains clear: our greatest legacy will always be the people who lay the bricks of our success.
Enjoy this issue, and may it fill you with pride, hope, and renewed inspiration.

Dear Team,
As we present the fourth edition of Connexion Magazine, I am proud to reflect on what has been an extraordinary season of growth, innovation, and teamwork across the Electrosales Group. Each milestone we celebrate has been the result of the dedication, resilience, and passion shown by our people who remain the backbone of everything we do.
This edition features one of the most exciting developments of the year: the opening of our Marondera Branch on the 31st of July, officially marking our 25th branch. This achievement is more than a number, it is a testament to our continued commitment to expanding accessibility, strengthening service delivery, and positioning Electrosales as a trusted partner in every community we serve. Marondera welcomed us warmly, and we are confident that this branch will become a key hub for both homeowners and the business community in the area.

You will also have heard about the significant opening of Electrosales Westgate, which recently moved to its bold, state-of-the-art new home. This modern stand-alone branch reflects our forward looking vision: spacious, efficient, future-ready, and intentionally designed to elevate customer experience. It stands as a proud symbol of how far we’ve come and how far we intend to go.
Another highlight is our groundbreaking promotional campaign, Red is the New Black. This is the first-of-its-kind promotion in the hardware industry, a bold step designed to drive excitement, reward loyalty, and deepen engagement with our customers. The energy around this campaign reflects the innovative spirit that continues to push our brand forward.
As we celebrate these achievements, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to every member of the Electrosales family. Our progress is only possible because of your commitment, whether you are on the sales floor, in our warehouses, support offices, or out in the field. Your hard work and character are the true drivers of our success. You carry our values, serve our customers with excellence, and represent our brand with pride.
Thank you for your ongoing dedication and contribution to our journey.
Let us continue to build, innovate, and shine together.

Chief Operating Officer

On the 1st of October, 2025, Westgate officially moved from its location inside the Westgate Shopping Centre to a bigger and better standalone building on the main Nemakonde Road.
In Harare West, both construction and agriculture are seeing significant developments, with a major emphasis on real estate and agro-based ventures. The area, which includes suburbs like Marlborough, Tynwald, Bluff Hill, and Westgate is undergoing a transformation driven by both residential and industrial expansion.
The impressive new branch boasts 3,000 square metres of modern retail space, complemented by a 2,000 square metre yard for cement, timber, and other essentials all thoughtfully designed with our customers and our future in mind. The striking modern structure, accented with slates beneath the main signage, creates a bold new presence. Inside, the high roof provides excellent ventilation, while skylights fill the space with natural light, complementing the subtle hanging lights while making the building more energy efficient.
Customers also benefit from the spacious aisles and 193 dedicated parking bays making their shopping experience even smoother.
Beyond its architecture, the new branch introduces innovative displays that showcase the depth and variety of our product offering. The Agricultural Centre provides a one-stop shop for farmers and agricultural businesses, with a full range of fertilisers, seeds and chemicals for animals.
In addition, the Truss House highlights our selection of Mitek-certified trusses, IBR sheets and red clay bricks, giving customers a practical and inspiring display of our solutions in building materials.
This move into a larger, purpose-built branch reflects our continued commitment to growth, innovation, and customer service. The Westgate Branch is now not only bigger and better, but also a true statement of what it means to be the Hardware Home for every customer.

Electrosales Westgate came alive during our vibrant Power Up Saturday event on the 25th of October, a day filled with innovation, energy, and community spirit. Customers, suppliers, families, and partners all joined in to make the day a memorable success.
Our valued suppliers showcased their products through engaging live demonstrations and offered exciting giveaways. Customers also enjoyed a range of rewards based on their purchase value, with KFC, Pizza Inn, and Creamy Inn vouchers adding an extra treat to the shopping experience.
The atmosphere was further elevated by lively music from our DJ, keeping the crowd entertained and the energy high throughout the event.
A dedicated Fun Zone brought out the playful side of both children and adults, with games and activities that kept smiles bright and spirits up.
Positive feedback flowed in from customers and suppliers alike, underscoring the event’s success and the strong sense of community it fostered.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Power Up Saturday and to those who supported from afar, we felt your energy too. Together, we continue to shine brighter.

On Thursday, 31 July, we proudly celebrated the opening of our Electrosales Marondera Branch! The day began with an emphatic team huddle and a resounding war cry, solidifying what we already know, that Electrosales is the biggest and best hardware in Zimbabwe!
The official opening kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Branch Manager Tatenda Makamure and Assistant Branch Manager Russel Nyagano, marking the start of a day full of excitement and celebration. Customers were treated to a pie giveaway in partnership with Surrey, and a lively roadshow powered by Proton brought the party to the streets of Marondera, creating a real buzz in the community. Local Member of Parliament Caston Matewi, alongside several businesses, farmers, and school representatives, also joined us to celebrate this milestone.

Located at the Marondera Commercial Complex along Ruzawi Road, this store represents so much more than just bricks and mortar, it’s the 25th branch in our growing network, a testament to our team’s hard work, vision, and commitment to serving Zimbabwe.
With 2,060 square metres of retail space and a spacious 481 square metre parking area, the branch has been designed with customer comfort and convenience in mind. The high-roof layout offers excellent airflow, while stylish lighting, epoxy-finished floors, and clearly defined product zones make for an organised, inspiring shopping experience. Standout features include a striking tap display, a bold lighting fixture wall, and beautifully curated bathroom displays that spark ideas for our customers’ dream spaces.

Marondera is a vibrant, fast-growing town with a strong agricultural base, busy schools, and a dynamic local economy. This branch is perfectly placed to meet those needs, while also strengthening our presence in the Mashonaland East region.
This opening was a true team effort, from those who planned and built the store, to the staff who worked tirelessly to get everything ready, to the support teams who made the day a success.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making Electrosales Marondera a reality.
Here’s to continuing to grow, serve, and celebrate our milestones together.

Constance Muvimi - Victoria Falls
Working at the Electrosales Victoria Falls branch has given me the privilege of meeting customers from all walks of life, each with their own projects, challenges, and expectations. But beyond the products we sell and the services we offer, what stands out most are the relationships we build along the way. Every day presents an opportunity to create meaningful connections, and some of these interactions leave a lasting mark on us as staff.
One such relationship is with Mr. Ralph, the Maintenance Manager for Pure Africa Cruise and Boat Company. For the past eight years, he has been more than just a customer- he has become part of our Electrosales family. His unwavering support, warm interactions, and genuine appreciation for our team have been a constant reminder of why we do what we do. Here’s what he has to say:
“As I stepped into Electrosales Victoria Falls shop eight years ago, I knew I had found a gem. My company had just started building in Victoria Falls, and I was on the hunt for quality hardware products that would meet our needs. The staff at this shop stood out from the rest- friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of shopping at this store numerous times, and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff has become like a second family to me, always greeting me with a smile and offering expert advice whenever I need it.
What sets Electrosales apart from the competition is its impressive range of goods and commitment to keeping the shelves well stocked. I have never left the shop disappointed, even when I was looking for something specific. The staff’s dedication to finding what I need and getting it to me within days is truly remarkable.
One thing that consistently impressed me is the shop’s willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it’s sourcing a particular product or offering expert advice, the staff always puts the customer first. It’s this level of service that has earned my loyalty and trust.”

“As I look back on my experiences at this shop, I am reminded of the importance of exceptional customer service. In a world where businesses often prioritise profits over people, it’s refreshing to find a shop that truly cares about its customers. I am grateful for the relationships I have built with staff and its management, and I look forward to many more years of shopping at this exceptional store,” Mr Ralph explained.
Our customers are great advocates, and we are proud to have built strong relationships with many of them. They have trusted us with their needs and appreciated our service. Their loyalty and satisfaction are what drive us to continue delivering exceptional experiences.
This story is a testament to our commitment to one of our core values: Excellent customer service. As Electrosales staff we are constantly learning and growing and stories like these demonstrate our dedication to putting our values into practice.

This year, Electrosales stepped confidently into new territory with a groundbreaking campaign that redefined what a hardware promotion could be. Red is the New Black marked a bold shift from traditional “Black November” discount-driven promotions toward something far more aspirational, an experience anchored in value, possibility, and excitement. This campaign centred on life-enhancing, big-impact prizes designed to resonate with our customers’ lifestyles. By linking everyday purchases to extraordinary rewards, Red is the New Black elevated shopping from a simple transaction into a memorable, aspirational journey.
This promotion was built on four key objectives: boosting sales while keeping our stores buzzing and creating deeper emotional connections through prizes that genuinely improve our customers’ lives. It also aimed to position Electrosales as a bold innovator in Zimbabwe’s hardware space and deliver a fresh promotional experience the market had never seen before.
Customers who spent $25 or more automatically earned an entry into the Grand Draw. Purchasing a featured supplier product unlocked a bonus entry, giving customers even more reason to explore our aisles.

The prizes set a new benchmark for scale and relevance:
• 1st Prize: A Toyota Hilux
• 2nd Prize: Two Suzuki Super Carry Contractor’s Vehicles
• 3rd Prize: 25 Solar Systems (one per branch)
• 4th Prize: Four sets of 40 litres of Dulux Super Luxurious Paint
• 5th Prize: Liquid Home Fibronix three-month internet subscriptions
In addition to the grand prizes, shoppers enjoyed abundant weekly rewards. These included themed hampers across Home, Garden, Outdoor and Automotive categories, plus two winners walking away with a month’s subscription of Liquid Home Fibronix internet.
To amplify the fun in-store, customers were encouraged to snap a photo with our Toyota Hilux selfie frame. Each week, one lucky participant won a Cadac mini hamper featuring a 3kg gas tank, cooler bag, lantern, and Electrosales merchandise. This activation that brought excitement, engagement, and a touch of friendly competition into our branches.

By the time this magazine goes to print, the promotion will have officially wrapped up, but what a remarkable journey it has been. Red November was a resounding success, thanks to the commitment, energy, and teamwork displayed across the Electrosales family.
From staff on the shop floor to the strategic teams steering the campaign behind the scenes, every contribution played a vital role. Your dedication ensured smooth execution, strong customer engagement, and the vibrant atmosphere that defined the promotion.
As we celebrate what we achieved together, we also set our sights on the future. If Red November is anything to go by, 2026 promises even bigger, bolder, and more exciting promotions raising the bar once again for what Electrosales can deliver.

For over a decade, we have defined print in Zimbabwe as the trusted partner for visual excellence. Our service delivers high-impact results. We cover everything: vibrant fabric prints, large-scale banners, essential brochures, and dominant billboards. We turn your vision into undeniable reality. This is the confidence your brand deserves.

On Wednesday, 6 August, the Electrosales Clinic came alive with a different kind of energy, one focused on health, care, and well being. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the company hosted a Wellness Day in line with our Brick, We Value Our People.
Partnering with First Mutual Health, the event brought together over 100 employees from both the Head Office and Graniteside Branch for a day dedicated to looking after the most important asset of our business, our people.
The programme offered a variety of health services, including blood pressure checks, eye tests, and dental checks, alongside consultations with General Practitioners. From early morning until late afternoon, employees moved through the different stations, taking the opportunity to address health concerns, get professional advice, and better understand their personal well being.
For many, it was more than just a check-up. It was a reminder that staying on top of one’s health is not a luxury, but a necessity.
Several employees commented on how the initiative encouraged them to prioritise their wellness and take proactive steps towards a healthier lifestyle.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants praising both the convenience and the quality of care received. The success of this Wellness Day paved the way for a broader rollout, and in September and October, additional Wellness Days were held across our branches.
These sessions brought the same essential health checks and support, ensuring more of our team members could benefit from accessible, on-site healthcare.
Together, these Wellness Days strengthened our commitment to fostering a workplace where health and wellbeing are prioritised and supported.

October marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a global movement dedicated to shining a light on education, early detection, and support for those affected by the disease. Breast cancer remains one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women worldwide, with 2.3 million new cases detected each year. Closer to home, it accounts for 13.3% of all female cancer cases in Zimbabwe, making awareness and early action not just important, but essential.
During Pinktober, our focus was on empowering our team with knowledge, access to screening, and tools to support early detection.
To encourage proactive health checks, we partnered with selected centres across the country to offer free breast cancer screening for our female staff members.

We strongly encouraged all our ladies to take advantage of this opportunity, as early detection remains one of the most effective tools in the fight against breast cancer.
Early detection matters because:
1. It saves lives. When breast cancer is found early, treatment is more effective and survival rates increase significantly.
2. Self-awareness is powerful. Understanding what your body normally looks and feels like makes it easier to notice changes early.
3. Support systems make a difference. Sharing experiences helps break stigma, build confidence, and create a safe space for open discussion.
As part of this year’s initiative, every woman at Electrosales received a handbag compact mirror and info booklet, designed to assist with self-screening at home. More than a thoughtful gift, it serves as a daily reminder of the importance of regular checks and prioritising personal health. Across all our branches, ladies attended breast cancer screenings in their respective areas demonstrating a strong commitment to their well being and to supporting one another.

On the 10th of October, Head Office turned vibrant pink as staff came dressed in solidarity with the global movement. The spirit was electric, the outfits were inspiring, and our people showed just how much heart Electrosales has.
Congratulations to Fadzai Chiware, Shuvai Matema, and Wellash Magoko, who won the Best Dressed in Pink social media competition. Their creativity and enthusiasm helped amplify the message of awareness in a fun and impactful way.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is more than a campaign, it is a reminder that awareness saves lives, action creates change, and hope carries us forward.
As the Electrosales family, let us continue to uplift, support, and educate one another. Together, we stand for awareness, action, and hope.

She wears no armour, yet she firmly stands. She walks through fire, yet she learned to always smile and praise.
Like nothing eats her up that’s how strong she is. Her strength is not loud, but it overwhelms such a cruel and noisy world.
She looks challenge in the eye and gives it a wink. She is strong, she will never give up, She might need a coffee, a cry or even a day in bed but she always comes back brighter, more beautiful and stronger.
Together we as ladies are stronger than breast cancer.

Fadzai Wendy Mubwandarikwa- Msasa

Where there is no Chazown (pronounced kah-zone) there is no dream, no revelation, no vision and no sense of one’s created purpose. Chazown is the Hebrew word for vision, and it is what God had in mind for you when you were created.
Everything ever created serves a purpose. Clothes were created to keep us warm and cover our nakedness, cars were made to move us from point A to point B swiftly and efficiently. Shelters were created to secure us; even an earthworm has a purpose of aerating the soil and balancing out the ecosystem.
Now then comes you my friend; You have a purpose. Yes, you too have a purpose. Like clothes there is an area that needs its nakedness to be covered by you. There is an ecosystem that needs to be aerated and balanced, but your eyes need to see.
You definitely do not compare to any creature or manmade machine ever made. I wouldn’t want to preach but when God created you, he wore a big smile and exclaimed, ”This is good!” Can you even imagine what made him say this out loud, what did he see? Oh boy! what did he put in that body of yours?
God had a vision for your life before you were even conceived. You are here for a reason, a very good one too. Your reason of existence is tailor made to suit you and only you. All human beings have a goal which is for us to have a relationship with God and to glorify him all the days of our lives.
You are here on this earth to matter deeply to people and reveal God’s love and power to them. If you live in isolation or loneliness your relationships perish. Research says that if you have no vision for a godly family you have a 50% chance of ending up divorced. The same applies to any area of your life, if you have no vision, it is just a matter of time before your castle crumbles.
God says in his word my people perish because of lack of knowledge, some versions say lack of wisdom or lack of vision. When there is no vision that your body is the temple of God’s spirit, physical health slips away and your exuberance fades. You treat your body anyhow. Some people walk haphazardly without elegance not because they are always in a hurry but they just do not know who they really are. They are blind to who they are.
Financially, one can live in the richest country on earth and still drown in debt. Reason being they have no vision. They do not know how much authority they have or can exercise in their finances. They need those eyes to see.
Chazown brings meaningfulness to one’s life. A lot of people endure work to exist, to survive, to pay bills, to stay married, to keep kids out of jail. But you have the power to work and enjoy work especially when you align with purpose.

An administrator with vision is far ahead of one without vision. A receptionist with purpose will work knowing that she not only receives visitors but she is like a brand ambassador. A person with vision can be spotted in a distance by how they handle themselves, how they offer deliverables and how they commune with others and vice versa. They know and understand that everything they do has a ripple effect. Do not go to the grave without having your eyes opened to the real you, do not take your last breath without discovering what was placed in you. Start from where you are now and never look back.
The 4 Gifts of the vision God gives you.
1. Focus:
When you have a vision inspired by God you will get to know your purpose in life. You are able to know your personal strengths and weaknesses. If you are focused, you won’t be distracted or abused in any setting.
2. Peace:
The vision that God gives you comes with peace. You know who you are in any setting. You know where you are going and it won’t be much of a struggle to reach your destiny.
3. Endurance:
The vision that comes from God will have some hard times. But hard times do not last forever, every challenge you face in life has a lesson. One speaker said that, you have to be tested so that you can have a testimony.
4. Passion:
The vision that God gave you comes with passion. What are you passionate about? That passion can help you achieve your God given vision. Are you good at selling? Sell those tools in such a way that you reveal the power of God to mankind. Are you a fantastic cook? Then come up with some tasty cuisine that will have people’s taste buds glorifying God.

Jeffrey Mugabe - Plumtree Road

Every success story has a defining moment, when ambition meets action. For Electrosales Plumtree Road, that moment came when the branch manager and leadership team gathered to set a bold new direction. Their goal was daring: to transform the branch into a million-dollar monthly sales powerhouse.
The vision was clear, the mission was defined, and the challenge was embraced, not by one person, but by an entire team determined to rise together.
The management meeting was more than strategy, it was a rallying call. Leadership laid out a roadmap built on discipline, efficiency, and customer focus. But more importantly, they instilled belief. Every department, from receiving to dispatch, understood they were not just employees, they were stakeholders in a dream.
The first step was ensuring stock flowed seamlessly from receiving to the shop floor. Structured processes became the backbone of operations:
• Receiving Team checked goods and moved them quickly to the shop floor.
• Salespeople used picking slips, eliminating confusion and saving time.
• Merchandisers transformed shelves into showcases, making products easy to find and appealing.
• Till Operators worked with speed and accuracy, ensuring every customer left satisfied.
• Dispatch Team coordinated orders with precision.
• General Hands assisted customers in loading purchases, adding a personal touch of care. Every step was intentional. Every process was designed to serve the customer better.
What made Plumtree Road’s journey extraordinary was not just the systems, but the spirit behind them.
• The receiving team knew their efficiency empowered sales.
• Till operators understood their speed reflected professionalism.
• The dispatch team realized their accuracy built customer trust. This culture of mutual respect and appreciation created a ripple effect. Departments no longer worked in silos, they worked in sync. Instead of competing, they collaborated.
The results spoke louder than words. Month after month, sales climbed steadily until the branch crossed the million-dollar mark. What once seemed like a lofty dream became a tangible reality. But beyond the numbers, the true victory was the unity forged along the way.
Electrosales Plumtree Road’s story is more than a business success, it is a testament to what happens when vision meets teamwork. It proves that no goal is too ambitious when every hand, every mind, and every heart is committed to the same mission.
“Team, today we celebrate crossing the $1 million mark. This is not just a financial achievement, it’s a testament to your resilience, creativity, and commitment. Let this milestone inspire us to aim even higher.”
Electrosales Plumtree Road now stands as a million-dollar reminder that success is never built by one person alone, it is built by many, moving as one.
By Duncan T Mambera - Victoria Falls

Each dawn, we awaken to a new lease of life. At dusk, we surrender once more to rest And so the rhythm of our days repeats, A timeless cycle of breath and being.
This road we travel, mile by mile, Leads us gently through the years, Aging slowly, quietly returning to the embrace of our Maker.
Have you ever paused to ponder What offering we shall bring before Him When the final whistle sounds?
Amid the noise and haste, We are easily distracted Forgetting that we rest but briefly On life’s passing lay-by.
It glitters with pleasure and activity, This temporary stop along the way, Yet few recall why we were sent to Earth: To be tested, refined, and purified Until the radiance of our true essence At last shines forth.
But tell me, how many shall pass the test?

On 25 September 2025, Electrosales Corporate Sales proudly took part in the highly anticipated Fossil Golf Day, hosted at the picturesque Country Club in Newlands. The event drew an impressive field of 120 golfers, all teeing off in a spirited four-ball tournament that blended competition, networking, and fun.
Led by Enock Sakala, our team made up of two sales representatives and two support staff arrived on site at 6:00am to prepare our sponsored refreshment station at the seventh hole tee box.
The setup comprised of a branded gazebo, complete with a serving table and comfortable seating for eight players to take a breather between holes. To maximize visibility, we positioned one tear-drop banner at the 1st hole and four more at the seventh, ensuring a strong Electrosales presence throughout the course.
Golfers were treated to an array of refreshments and snacks, a welcome stop as they made their way through the course. Our presence at this major customer event proved invaluable. Throughout the day, we engaged with players and guests from across the construction, financial, and commercial sectors. It was the perfect setting to reconnect with loyal customers and build rapport with potential new ones.
In the spirit of appreciation and brand visibility, we handed out Electrosales-branded merchandise, all of which were enthusiastically received.
To add extra excitement, we hosted a lucky dip draw for a 130-piece Hurricane tool kit, generously supplied by Tech Africa. Contestants entered by submitting their name, company, email, and phone number resulting in a valuable 130-person contact list for future engagement.
The draw took place during the prize-giving ceremony, with Enock Sakala taking the lead in announcing the lucky winner.
Our participation at Fossil Golf Day not only strengthened relationships with one of our key customers but also showcased the Electrosales brand to a diverse, influential audience.

We held our annual Mountain Bike Event on the 1st and 2nd of November in Shamva and Chishawasha, which saw an impressive turnout of participants from diverse backgrounds, including a couple of our staff, all cycling for a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from the event were donated to My Trees Foundation, an organisation committed to mitigating natural woodland loss through community tree replanting, environmental protection, and the promotion of alternative technologies and fuels to reduce pressure on local ecosystems.
We’re proud to support their mission and play our part in protecting our environment. As a special gesture, My Trees Trust gifted us a tree to plant at one of our branches, growing yet another green footprint for a greener tomorrow.
In the end, the two-day event was more than just a cycling challenge, it was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together for a shared purpose. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the cause. Together, we continue to drive positive environmental change, one pedal at a time.

On the 19th of July, ES Chiredzi had the privilege of painting two residential blocks at the local orphanage, Chiredzi Children’s Village in Tshovani Makondo, located 5km from town. The project aimed to give the children’s residence a fresh and uplifting look as part of the company’s initiative and one of our bricks, Giving Back - Community
The painting commenced on Saturday and was completed on Sunday. To make the work easier and more efficient, we divided ourselves into groups with specific tasks:
1. Preparing the surfaces to be painted
2. Painting
3. Cooking food for our team and the children
4. Cleaning the vicinity of the blocks
The painting of the two blocks not only improved the physical appearance of the orphanage but also brought joy and a sense of pride to both the children and our staff. Everyone had the opportunity to interact and share lunch together, a rare and special experience for the children, who are often confined to the home.
We also took the opportunity to capture some photos together with the children.

The project was a success, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. We are proud of our team’s hard work and dedication.
We extend our gratitude to our team members, volunteers, and the orphanage staff for their support and cooperation.
Lastly, we thank the company’s Management for coming up with this great initiative, which continues to bring value to both the community and the organisation.

Our Madokero Branch recently visited Haig Primary School, donating paint and helping to refresh the classrooms. The day was filled with joy, teamwork, and community spirit, a small but meaningful way of giving back to the communities that support us every day.

ES Avondale and Capital Foods Support Emerald Hill School for the Deaf
In September, Electrosales Avondale purchased and donated 200 day-old chicks, feed, and essential poultry supplies to Emerald Hill School for the Deaf, while Capital Foods provided expert training and supplemented the donation with additional feed and stress packs to ensure the chicks thrived.
The team joined the students for the official handover and dedication ceremony, where they shared heartfelt thanks and showed how this project will help them become more selfsufficient and raise funds for school development.
A special thank you goes to Capital Foods for providing their expertise and support. Together, this partnership is making a lasting impact on the school and empowering the students for a brighter future.

Bulawayo Fife Street Lights Up Emthunzini Wethemba Children’s Home
by Ruth Gondo
On 11 October 2025, Bulawayo Fife Street Branch carried out a successful community project at Emthunzini Wethemba Children’s Home. The initiative aimed to improve safety, security, and living conditions for the 23 boys residing at the home, addressing critical needs such as inadequate lighting, insecure doors, and limited cooking facilities.
This engagement reflected Electrosales Hardware’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community development.
The following tasks were successfully completed:
1. Installation of additional indoor and outdoor lighting to enhance visibility and security.
2. Repair and replacement of door locks to improve safety.
3. Painting of the main gate to boost appearance and protect against rust and wear.
4. Donation and installation of gas stoves.
5. Yard cleaning and washing line repairs.
6. An engagement session with the children and caregivers, including a braai and sadza lunch, fostering a sense of inclusion, care, and encouragement.
The event provided a meaningful opportunity for team members to engage both with each other and with the children and staff of the home. One of the most rewarding moments was seeing the children’s excitement as the new lights were switched on, brightening their surroundings and lifting their spirits.
The team was inspired by the boys’ resilience and optimism, and the warm welcome, cheerful songs, and expressions of gratitude made the day truly memorable.

The project also strengthened teamwork among our branch staff, with members from various groups lighting installation, socket installation, washing line repairs, gas installation, gate painting, lockset repairs, general cleaning, and braai/entertainment, collaborating seamlessly to complete all tasks efficiently. This demonstrated the power of unity and a shared sense of purpose, exemplifying our brick, “Operating as One.”
The success of this project was made possible through the collective effort and support of multiple departments and individuals within the organization. The improvements not only enhanced the physical and safety conditions at the home but also reinforced Electrosales Hardware’s role as a responsible and caring corporate citizen. The management and children expressed heartfelt appreciation, noting that the upgrades have significantly improved their sense of safety and well-being.
Our branch extends sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this initiative. Through such collaborative efforts, Electrosales Hardware continues to uphold its values of community support and shared responsibility, in line with our brick, “Giving Back / Community.”

On the 14th of June 2025, Electrosales Kadoma’s 33-member team accompanied by our certified and recommended Electrosales Solar Installer, Mr Owner Machaka visited Tariro Children’s Home to provide donations and services, while bonding with the children. In line with our CSR efforts, the plumbing of the house, previously in a state of disarray, was fully repaired.
We also assisted with replacing their leaking 5000 litre water tank with a spare one they had on site and donated a new booster pump and control unit to replace the deteriorated ones. Plumbing work encompassed toilet, basin, and shower repairs, plus underground pipe replacements. In response to a recent security incident, we installed floodlights and new interior bulbs. Additionally, we set up new washing lines with 10kgs of tying wire provided through donations.
The team members gathered a multitude of clothing, groceries and other essentials to donate to the children after learning about their basic needs.

By Bridget Mukarati - Kadoma

In unison, the team participated in all the work and activities of the day. The gentlemen helped out with the heavy lifting and the installations whilst the ladies did a fantastic job with setting up the eats and with housekeeping and laundry. Moved by the experience, Mr Machaka made a surprise contribution of a 2kva solar system, installing it pro bono and we added solar accessories to complete the setup.
Sharing meals and treats, we connected with the children, bonding over stories and laughter. Coincidentally, three children had birthdays around our visit, so we surprised them with gifts, party packs and cake to share with friends. We added a joyful touch with a team rendition of “Happy Birthday”
Our day with the children was unforgettable, filled with joy. Leaving behind a brighter, transformed space brought us immense happiness. Neighbours expressed gratitude for the donations. Special thanks to the team for their tireless efforts and generosity, this initiative was a success!

Malvine Mcdreamy Chinyoka - Surveillance

When I first joined the Surveillance Team at Electrosales, I didn’t fully grasp the depth of responsibility that came with the role. At first glance, it seemed like a job of watching screens and monitoring activity but I quickly learned that it’s so much more than that. It’s about protecting people, property, and peace of mind.
In the early days, I faced a steep learning curve. Understanding the systems, learning to read subtle cues, and staying alert for long hours required discipline and focus. But with the support of my team and guidance from experienced colleagues, I grew more confident. Every shift became an opportunity to sharpen my instincts and contribute to the safety of our stores, staff, and customers.
One of the most rewarding moments in my journey was when our team successfully identified and prevented a major security breach. It reminded me that our work, though often behind the scenes, is vital to the smooth running of the business. We are the silent guardians, always watching, always ready.
What keeps me going is the sense of purpose. Knowing that our vigilance helps create a safe environment for everyone is incredibly fulfilling. I’ve also learned the value of teamwork, how each member plays a crucial role, and how trust and communication are the backbone of our success.
To anyone starting out in this field: stay sharp, stay curious, and never underestimate the impact of your role.
In surveillance, every detail matters, and every action can make a difference.
Aldridge Gutu - Mt Pleasant
For three long months, my body battled silently. The acids tore me leaving behind fatigue, discomfort and a sense of helplessness l hadn’t known before. Each day felt like a test of endurance and as the weeks passed, l could feel the weight of doubt creeping in.
But in the shadow of that struggle, light found its way in. My wife and family stood by me like a pillar, steady and unwavering. They reminded me that l wasn’t alone. My colleagues too refused to let me sink. They checked in, encouraged me and reminded me of the value l still held. And then there was Moreblessing, her prayers spoken with sincerity and hope felt like armour around my spirit.
Recovery wasn’t instant, it came in fragments, a morning with less pain, a meeting l could attend, and a task l could complete, but with each step l returned to work, not as someone who had fallen, but as someone who had risen.
l didn’t just survive those three months, l grew and l discovered that resilience isn’t about never falling but it’s about rising stronger.
Failure is failing to rise when you fall. Refuse to fail.

Mukudzei B. Maposa - Westgate
The heart of our journey beats with courage, Carved by struggle, strengthened by hope. Every step we take is a story, Every challenge faced, a seed of growth.
We rise not because the path is easy, But because within us burns a fire
A dream too strong to be silenced, A vision too clear to expire.

The heart of our journey is unity, Many voices, yet one song. Together we build, together we shine, Together we carry each other along.
So let this be our legacy, Not just the miles that we have run, But the strength, the faith, the love we hold For in the end, we are one.
“Rising through learning and resilience”

Ambitious, courageous, and tenacious are just a few words that describe the protagonist of this remarkable story. Some may argue they don’t do her justice. Meet Bridget Mukarati, the fearless and dynamic Branch Manager of Electrosales Kadoma. Her leadership, dedication, and passion have inspired me deeply, shaping my own career journey. I hope her story inspires you too.
At just 31, Bridget became the youngest and one of only three female Branch Managers at Electrosales. Her work ethic and resilience earned her the trust of senior leadership, who appointed her as the first female to manage an “Out of Town” branch. Country branches demand greater independence and adaptability, yet she embraced the challenge wholeheartedly.
Despite the demands of her career, Bridget is a mother of two and the anchor of her family. Balancing these responsibilities while excelling at work makes her rise even more extraordinary. With a leadership style grounded in attention to detail, strong relationships, and genuine care for her team, she has guided the Kadoma branch to significant growth and expansion.
Her journey is extraordinary by any standard. In June 2019, a young woman with a Psychology degree walked into Electrosales Msasa as a Cashier, carrying aspirations far beyond the till.
Through resilience and belief in her abilities, she rose from an unrelated academic background to Branch Manager in only six years.
Bridget sought growth whenever a role began to feel routine. This instinct moved her through four positions on her climb to management. After joining as a Cashier, she quickly stood out. Within six months she was placed at the Enquiries desk, where she excelled while also understudying in the Administration office.
In January 2021, after a year of preparation she was appointed Branch Administrator at Electrosales Plumtree Road in Bulawayo. The promotion required personal sacrifice: relocating during the COVID era, leaving her young son, and adapting to a new city with cultural and language barriers. She entered a branch facing operational gaps yet tackled the issues head-on. Her efforts strengthened systems and performance, marking another milestone in her growing career.
Still, her ambition pushed her forward. Whenever internal vacancies were advertised, she applied with confidence. In 2022, as Electrosales expanded and prepared to open the Kadoma branch, the Assistant Branch Manager post caught her attention. Believing in her capability, she applied immediately.
In May 2022, she was appointed Assistant Branch Manager. Her time as Administrator had proven her readiness, and she embraced yet another relocation. Bridget played a key role in launching the Kadoma branch from scratch. Her growth mindset and experience made her instrumental in establishing a strong operational foundation. Over the next three years, she became known as a leader who shattered barriers and paved the way for women in management.
Her biggest leap came in 2025. Despite her age, gender, and relatively short service, her competence and reliability were unquestionable. When the Branch Manager position became vacant after the transfer of Mr. T. Makamure, she emerged as the obvious choice. In a company where, until 2025, 96% of Branch Managers were male, Bridget became a symbol of what ambition and determination can achieve.
Her journey proves that one can start at the bottom and rise to the very top. Many would call it climbing the corporate ladder; given the pace, I would say she took the elevator. Her story serves as encouragement to pursue growth as our organization continues to evolve.
When asked about the values that guided her, she shared a few:
Integrity - doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
Growth - stepping outside one’s comfort zone and embracing challenges.
Courage - applying for every role she believed she could grow into, even when it felt intimidating.

She credits her rapid career rise to a supportive organizational environment, her resilience, willingness to learn, patience, courage, and her habit of applying for every opportunity. When the next vacancy appears, remember her example and do not allow doubt or limitation to hold you back.
Bridget also expressed gratitude to several individuals who played pivotal roles in her journey. At Msasa, Mr. Don Callow and Mr. Brian Jokonya recognized her potential early. At Plumtree Road, Mr. Sonny Mashanda instilled resilience, accountability, and emotional intelligence. Regional Manager Dave Sutherland Mcleoud provided an environment where she could learn and grow. Mr. Tatenda Makamure, now Marondera Branch Manager, mentored her and sharpened her skills. She also thanked Mrs. R. Zhangazha and the Executive Committee, Mr. H. Macklin, Mr. T. Yeatman, and Mr. M. S. Gurira for trusting her with the roles that shaped her career.
Finally, Bridget is a woman of faith. She believes God’s grace has underpinned every step of her journey, and she attributes her success to His guidance above all else.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our colleague, Roseline Mutasa, who sadly left us on 6 September 2025 after a brief illness.
Roseline was a shining example of professionalism and dedication, particularly to her fellow women in the security department.
She was known for her honesty, her confidence in speaking her mind, and her commitment to carrying out her duties with diligence and pride.
Her absence will be profoundly felt, as she was not only a hardworking team member but also a truly wonderful person.
Roseline was laid to rest on 10 September 2025 in Mutasa Village, Gokwe Nembudziya.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working with her.

Forever in Our Hearts - GONE but not forgotten
In quiet corners, we still hear your name, with every paint customer, every sale, a steady soul, A constant flame. You walked your path, kind, strong, And hale.
From Mica’s floor to Electrosales, you carried purpose In your trails. Reliable hands, a heart so wide, a friend, a brother, at every side.
Dynamos cheered, And city too, you wore their colours proud and true. In every match, we see your grin, as if the score was yours to win.
They called you Shona Lekhosi a name that danced through days like poetry. Always present, always near, your laughter still rings clear. A family man with quiet grace, a friend whose love left no empty space.

You lived not loud, but deep and full, turning life’s rough edges smooth and dull. So here is to you, to all you gave, the loyalty, the laughs, the way you stayed.
Not even death can take away, the warmth you left in hearts today. Rest well, dear friend, your work is done.
The game is over, the race is run, but in our stories, You are still here forever close, forever near.
