She creates fabrics and collections for interiors and fashion that are built around strict colour combinations, relationships and effects. She explores the depth and resonance of colour through her expert knowledge of printing and dye techniques. As a postgraduate student at Chelsea College of Art & Design, she wrote a superlative essay on colour, craft and the environment. Today, she develops this subject with her own students at Morley College in London where Lynch is now Head of Textiles.
