A note from our CEO 2024 was a transformational year for us. Our successful pivot from a directto-consumer (DTC) company to a B2B2C model gave us the foundation we need to start this new era for our company. This transition validated that we could take a novel concept like Life Benefit and bring it to market in a way that demonstrates the value of protection as a critical addition to the customer experience of financial institutions.

While our growth wasn’t as fast as we had hoped, we held steady in a challenging environment—a feat that many companies our size couldn’t claim last year. That resilience speaks volumes about the strength, adaptability, and determination of our team.

Now, as we move into 2025, I’m more excited than ever about what’s ahead.

We’re entering the year with real momentum, a refined business model that holds strong economic promise, and a clear focus on scale. This time, we’re scaling with an eye on achieving both cash-flow positivity and long-term profitability—goals that feel more attainable than ever.Adding to this excitement is our progress on key milestones, including the cusp of securing approval in New York (a massive win!) and fully unifying our brand under Wysh.

These changes aren’t just symbolic; they’re setting us up to become a stronger, more cohesive organization ready for accelerated growth. 2025 is shaping up to be one of our most focused and ambitious years yet. I have no doubt that our collective optimism, smart judgment, courage, and unwavering collaboration will propel us forward and enable us to achieve extraordinary results together.

Let’s carry this momentum into the new year, continue pushing boundaries, and build something truly remarkable. Thank you for everything you bring to Wysh and for being an essential part of this journey. Here’s to a year of focus, growth, and success. Let’s make 2025 our best year yet!

Our Magical Trip to Disney’s Epcot!

Our company trip to Disney’s Epcot was nothing short of enchanting! Some of us wandered around the world, sampling unique foods and drinks, while others soared through magical rides. One thing we all had in common? Lots of walking —but every step was worth it for the memories we made. From laughterfilled moments to exploring new experiences, it was truly a magical time!

Kseniya’s Epcot Poem Oh, the weather outside was frightful, So we boarded a flight, delightful, To Epcot, where plans were made, For mingling and friendships newly displayed.

The first night sparkled with cheer, A party kicked off our stay here.

Bar crawls followed, rowdy and fun, From smoke shops to speakeasies—Halloween-themed, for one!

Waffle House cravings, and crowd favorite, Bahama Breeze, Carried us through Orlando with effortless ease.

The next day began with a festive clink, Some in Canada, others in Mexico for their first drink.

A lucky few braved Guardians of the Galaxy's thrill, While most of us glided through Frozen’s chill.

The Epcot Globe taught us stories profound, Of past, present, and futures unbound.

We gathered again for a fiery farewell, The night’s firework finale casting its spell.

Happy and hazy, thankful and tired, Wyshing of next year’s adventures; inspired.

The D.E.I-gest Gratitude in Action: Small Acts, Big Impact The holiday season means different things to different people. For some, it’s a time filled with loved ones; for others, it may be quieter or more reflective. Wherever you are on that spectrum, there’s always room to pause and find something to be grateful for—whether it’s a kind gesture, a meaningful connection, or simply a moment of peace. Gratitude isn’t just about saying “thank you”—it’s about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and seen.

Our DEI Committee participated in a heartfelt gratitude workshop that brought laughs, compliments, and even a few tears. It reminded us that we, the people, are the heart of this workplace, and recognizing one another’s contributions is key to building a positive culture.

Here are a few simple ways to foster gratitude: Make It Personal: Tailor your appreciation to what resonates with each individual.

Acknowledge the Unseen: Celebrate the behind-the-scenes efforts that often go unnoticed.

Be Specific: Call out exactly what made an impact to show sincerity.

Small Gestures, Big Impact: A handwritten note or thoughtful token can mean the world.

Celebrate Together: Share wins and milestones as a team to strengthen bonds.

Over the past few months, we’ve shared bits and pieces of this exciting rebrand, and now it’s time to bring it to life everywhere, including LinkedIn.

To make this transition seamless, we need your help: Update Your Employer: Head to your LinkedIn profile and update your current employer from String and Key to Wysh.

Remove Old Banners: If your profile has a String and Key banner with the lightning bolt logo, please remove it. We’re working on fresh Wysh banners and will share those soon!

This rebrand is a huge milestone, and your profiles are a big part of making it a success. Let’s show the world what Wysh is all about— empowering people to live life fully, with the confidence of financial protection.

The Case of the Missing Policy Mad Libs ADJECTIVE It was a (adjective) day when we discovered that a vital life

insurance policy had vanished into thin air! The client, PERSON’S NAME EMOTION (person's name), was (emotion) because they needed coverage NOUN for their (noun) right away.

PLACE in IN THE I started the investigation by searching the (place theOFFICE office) COWORKER'S NAME and interviewing (coworker's name), who claimed they last saw VERB ENDING IN NOUN it while (verb ending in-ING -ing). Next, I checked the (noun) but PLURAL noun) NOUN only found (plural inside.

ADJECTIVE The real clue came when someone noticed (adjective) OFFICE LOCATION footprints leading to the (office location). There, we discovered COWORKER'S NAME PLURAL noun), NOUN (coworker's name) hiding behind a stack of (plural PLURAL food) FOOD eating (plural and holding the missing policy!

ADJECTIVE The mystery was solved just in time for the (adjective) new NOUN campaign, “Insuring Your (noun) Beyond the Grave.” The client EMOTION was (emotion) to have their policy back, and I ended the day by VERB ENDING IN (verb ending in-ING -ing) in celebration.

ADJECTIVE It was truly a (adjective) day in the life of a life insurance hero!

Farewell and Best Wishes Some goodbyes are easy—like parting ways with that ancient sweater in the back of your closet or deciding (again) to quit late-night ice cream binges. But then there are the goodbyes that hit a little harder.

We’re (reluctantly) saying “until we meet again” to Diana, Paulo, and Josh, three incredible individuals who’ve brought smarts, and a whole lot of heart to Wysh.

While we’ll miss seeing you around, we know you’re off to do amazing things, and we can’t wait to hear all about them.
