POVERA A centre that strongly believes in providing arts and culture to the community. Povera is known to exhibit work of many important artists from traditional to contemporary, and is known to hosts complex installations that are too large to realize in conventional museums.

Povera is known for hosting a numbers of diverse types of art performances. With over 75 different arts events staged year round including popular music, contemporary dance, outdoor films, avantgarde theatre and much more.

Povera is known for thier hospitality in helping local artists establish themselves through events that Povera host. It gives that local artiest experience and good exposure to the community for many people to enjoy.

A gift shop is staged in Povera enable consumers to purchase souveniers to remember their experience at Povera. Many popular local artists can have their artwork made into merchandise to be sold through Povera’s gift shops.

COMMUNITY Povera’s goal is to bring different community, artists and cultures together to share the joy of art. A place the welcomes everyone who find the joy in art and to create a community where everyone can learn from each other.

VISUAL MARK

THE THINK TANK The concept for the Povera’s visual mark is applying the ideology of using mosaic form as a metaphor to represent the diversity of arts and cultures in Povera. The idea of each tiles connects closely together to become a whole is a great metaphor for the brand, since this is the key component that makes Povera special.

Povera’s colour palette is a strong component in our identity. The multicolour represents the diversity in culture and arts that is embedded into the brand. Each of the 5 vibrant colours represents a faculty within Povera.

PRIMARY FONT FAMILY

The type family that is used for Povera is Helvetica Neue. This typeface has a wide variety of weights, which is suitable for many different uses. Helvetica neue should be used for all external and internal prints. No other fonts are acceptable as supporting fonts.

SAFE AREA

There should be a clear border around the visual mark. It is equal to the height of one of the squares within the logo. This is a minimum requirement for the logo, If possible leave larger clear area when is place next to an image. Minimum Size The minimum size for the logo is 12mm (47in).

IMPROPER USE

The visual mark should never be stretched or skew in any circumstances. No background or images should be place under the visual mark. No special effects should be added and there should be no adjustment on the kerning and the leading of the visual mark.

APPLICATIONS APPLYING IDEAS TO SOMETHING TANGIBLE Once a solid concept is put into place and a great visual mark has been created. It is only natural to expand the brand by applying these ideas to something tangible.

Bright colours are used to show the fun and excitement that Povera hope to provide, plus with a simple and modern design keeps the Povera very comptemporary.

ANIMATION

An animation is created for the visual mark to futher promote Povera. This animation can be applied to promotional media like commercial and videos. In this video portrays the key concept of Povera which is the ideology of many pieces of the puzzle coming together to form a whole.

A gift bag is designed for Povera’s gift shop to further strengthen the brand.

BUSINESS CARD | ENVELOPE | LETTERHEAD The design for the stationeries are based on the same concept of povera’s visual mark. Incoporating the idea of many becoming a whole. The business cards are designed to connect into a whole when placed next to each other. Each colour will represent the department that the user is associated with. The Same concept is applied to the letterhead, envelope and gift bag.
