he Superior and Douglas County area has a wealth of quality health care available. Residents have access to two major hospitals, clinics, and health and treatment centers that provide services to suit all medical needs. The Superior area has a number of dentists specializing in family dentistry, orthodontics, root canals, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and periodontal care. There are also many outreach specialists from other Essentia Health facilities who see patients daily in Superior. A short drive to Duluth provides access to an even wider variety of services offered by Essentia Health.
