Harrisburg, PA, February 15, 2011 -- Create, design and model your ideas about the future using The Inter-Nodal Connector Architecture (INCA) System as a contestant in the INCAnaut Challenge hosted by Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in Pennsylvania. Contest information is found online at http://www.incanautchallenge.com Open to teams of high school and college students, INCAnaut Challenge contestants explore and model the scientific ‘real world’ possibilities of revolutionary new technologies and materials presently in development. Teams choose one of eight categories for their INCA design entry: • Consumer Products – Products that increase quality of life in the workplace, at home during leisure time, or while traveling. • Machinery and Equipment – Mechanisms that speed up and improve work, manufacturing, or scientific research processes. • Medical – Devices that improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare. • Safety & Security – Devices that defend or enhance the security or safety of individuals, businesses, communities, or nations. • Sustainable Technology – Products that harness or use renewable energy sources, as well as products designed for other purposes using environmentally friendly materials or manufacturing processes. • Transportation – Machines that enable movement of people and goods from one place to another. • Air/Ground/Sea/Underwater – Products or housing that would help people live in these environments. • Outer Space – Devices that would make living or working in outer space safer, easier or cheaper.
