Happy Spring! St. Pius X Catholic School April 2014 Newsletter

The theme for April is

Integrity

Message from the Principal As we move into April, our journey through Lent continues. Together we prepare ourselves for the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. And as we approach Easter, Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, encourages us “…not to be closed to the newness that God wants to bring to our lives…Let us not close our hearts, let us not lose confidence, let us never give up; there are no situations which God cannot change.” Our faculty and staff are blessed to be able to share this very special time of year with you and your children. We hope that through weekly Masses, Eucharistic Adoration, the Stations of the Cross, religion classes and the almsgiving we have participated in through the rice bowls for Catholic Relief Services, we have all drawn closer to Christ and taken the time to reflect on His great sacrifice so that we may be granted eternal life. We hope that you can join us on Friday, April11th for our last school Mass before the Easter break. May the joy of the Risen Christ renew you and fill you and your family with much peace and happiness. Happy Easter from the faculty and staff of St. Pius X School. Yours in Christ, Dennis Mullahy, Principal
