We do not charge for any of our SEN/Learning Empowerment services. Our team are highly trained and include qualified SENCOs, specialist teachers, assessors, ELSAs, teaching assistants and our therapy dog, Woody. This enables us to use a range of cognitive ability tests and screeners to better inform classroom support and any interventions for pupils with SEND. We strongly believe that our pupils should access the main curriculum with their peers as much as possible. For a more targeted approach, timetabled group lessons may also take place in The Hub. Our aim with all intervention is to build pupils’ skills to promote increasing independence as they move through the school. 3-16, Co-educational 751 Day

About the School

Leighton Park offers an exceptional values-led education for 11–18-year-old girls and boys, located next to the University of Reading

About the School

Pipers Corner School is an independent day school for girls aged from 4 to 18 years, set in 96 acres of beautiful Chiltern Hills countryside.

We believe that education is about the development of the whole person – and stretches far beyond the traditional curriculum. We support the students in a caring and compassionate environment, to fulfil their academic and personal potential, enabling them to emerge as mature, confident, and independent young people

There is no typical ‘Pipers’ student, we aim to know each student as an individual and identify, develop and support her talents and strengths. Students are supported by an incredibly passionate and dedicated body of teachers who make it their mission to ensure that everything the students do, in and out of the classroom, adds value to their educational experience and drives forward a love of learning that takes them beyond life at Pipers

About the School

St George's is a thriving independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 offering an ambitious, connected and future-facing education tailored for girls to realise their potential both at school and in fulfilling adult lives ahead.

The St George's ethos, and education, focuses on developing Confident, Capable and Connected young women who are thoroughly prepared for the world beyond school. Learning in an all-girls environment fosters confidence as girls are emboldened to innovate, lead and express informed views free from gender stereotypes They are, as a recent Head Girl explained, at 'the centre of their own story' throughout their time at the school.

Pupils enjoy facilities that 'might easily belong to a school three times the size' (2023 Good Schools Guide review), with four art studios, a state of the art six-lane swimming pool, a 300-seat theatre, a Cookery & Food Technology room, and new music recording studio Yet the school is small enough to develop markedly strong relationships across the community Each pupil is known and supported by a close network of boarding, teaching and pastoral staff who help shape and develop each individual. Examination results are excellent with regular Oxbridge success, a high percentage attending Russell Group universities in both the sciences and humanities and a strong number of girls choosing post-18 options in the Arts in courses ranging from visual effects, fine art, textiles and fashion to photography. A recent value-added figure for the school at GCSE placed St George's 7th out of 344 schools.

About the School

The Oratory School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11-18, situated in South Oxfordshire. Why should you choose The Oratory School? Because The Oratory is just as much about the people as it is the place. At The Oratory we believe that there is an important difference between being fully qualified and fully human.

Groundedness, Wholeness and Kindness are created by the right ethos and environment. This is what helps you build habits that will serve you for life and allow you to be of service to others. These are the sort of qualities that will, without doubt, be to the fore in all your achievements: in your life’s critical encounters, your choice of career and your progress through the world. The sort of talents and values that make you a good human being.

The Oratory remains, quite deliberately, small enough that we can know every one of our students in the way that their parents know them – the hopes and fears, the enthusiasms and trepidations. We have created an atmosphere that is challenging yet not intimidating, because education here happens one student at a time.

We are not, and do not aspire to be an academic hothouse. Think of us more as a greenhouse, where growth and flourishing happen naturally in a place of joy and safety. That is why our students perform beyond expectation. We add to their lives. We make them more. Put simply, that’s our job.

The Oratory. Be you. Become more.
