Fiona Godfrey OAM

Former Principal Fiona Godfrey was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia 2023 in the Australia Day Honours for service to primary and secondary education.

As I reflect on the term, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness to all his people. I give thanks to God for the many blessings he has given to us here at St Peter’s Girls.

Fiona was Principal at Saints Girls from 2008 to 2013. During that time, she steered the building of the Arts Centre amidst a roll out of federal grants for school infrastructure, oversaw the introduction of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) to broaden educational choice and instigated the relaunch of Rowing as a sport at our School. Fiona went on to become Principal of Radford College in Canberra.

We congratulate Fiona on this well-deserved recognition and are pleased that she continues to maintain strong ties with Saints Girls.
