Together,

WE EMBRACE MAGI S

the call to do and be more as we build a future worthy of our Jesuit heritage.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CHAIR OF THE BOARD

As we introduce our new strategic plan, Past, Present, Purpose: Shaping the future through Jesuit Education , we do so with a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility: gratitude for the generations of students, families, educators and benefactors who have shaped St. Paul’s High School into the thriving community it is today and responsibility to uphold our mission, strengthen our foundation and prepare for the future.

This strategic plan is a reflection of who we are and where we are going. It builds upon our Jesuit roots while addressing the realities of an ever-changing world.

It challenges us to strengthen our Jesuit Catholic identity, walk with Indigenous Peoples, ensure financial sustainability, and continually evolve our approach to education and formation. Each priority is rooted in the values that define us and the Ignatian tradition that calls us to serve.

We invite you to be part of this journey. Your support – whether as students, parents, alumni, faculty or friends –will help shape the future of St. Paul’s. Together, we will continue forming young men of faith, competence, conscience and character, prepared to lead with purpose in a changing world.

With gratitude and hope,

INTRODUCTION

For nearly a century, our school has been guided by the Jesuit tradition – forming young men of intellect, faith and service.

As we look ahead, Past. Present. Purpose . serves as both a reflection and a commitment: honouring our history, strengthening our mission today, and shaping a future rooted in excellence, justice and for the greater glory of God (AMDG).

This strategic plan is our roadmap for the years to come. Grounded in our renewed mission, vision, and values, it outlines key priorities that will ensure we remain a community of faith and leadership, a financially sustainable institution, and a place of exceptional education and formation. Together, we embrace magis – the call to do and be more – as we build a future worthy of our Jesuit heritage.
