STP Silt Fence is manufactured from the Polypropylene with blending of UV Stabilizers; which offers it stabilization against the harmful UV rays of sun. Since it’s mostly required in un-laminated form, it allows water to drain through and the sand / split particles are settled by the inner core of SILT FENCE.

USAGE : Use STP’s SILT FENCE to obtain best results, prior to soil disturbance in the following construction areas:     

STP’s SILT FENCE FABRICs offers a unique combination of Ultraviolet (UV) resistance, strength and elongation properties, making them ideal for use in sediment control applications; following IS 15910:2010 A silt fence is a temporary sediment barrier made of porous fabric. It’s held up by wooden or metal posts driven into the ground, so it’s inexpensive and relatively easy to remove.

-as primary objective for perimeter control, entrenched / attached to supporting poles which are some-times backed up by plastic / wire mesh for support. It detains the sediment-laden water, promoting sedimentation behind the fence.

STP’s SILT FENCE FABRIC is fabricated onto mountable supporting posts, which offers efficient control of sediment run-off. Controlling the run-off (an increasing environmental concern) is advantageous to owners, contractors and engineers who face the economic costs associated with site sediment loss.

When attached to wood or metal posts and properly trenched into the soil, silt fence fabrics contain overland flow and filter suspended soil particles from water.

It not only allows the water to drain efficiently, but also prevents environmental damage to areas next to construction sites. Plus, as sediment accumulates, the fabric’s high tensile strength, UV resistance and low maintenance features ensure continued performance throughout the entire life of the project.

We also offers fabrics which offers 80% of strength after exposure of 1000 hours of U.V. exposure; so that silt fence thus made lasts long when exposed to harmful U.V. rays.
