Preheat oven to 200C/fan180C/gas 6 Spray a non-stick roasting tin with low-calorie cooking spray, add the chicken breasts and season lightly. Add the leeks, thyme and 150ml boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes. Reduce the heat to as low as possible, stir in the fromage frais and most of the Parmesan and cook for 1-2 minutes or until just heated through, stir & season. VISITING THE GREENACRE CENTRE AND MEMORIAL HALL

Almost all our existing hirers (clubs, classes, etc) at The Greenacre Centre and Memorial Hall have now returned. What are we doing to protect you and others using our facilities? We encourage anyone visiting our buildings to continue wearing face coverings and to socially distance, particularly when close to others you wouldn’t normally be in close contact with. We will continue to provide hand sanitiser gel at entrance/exit points and rooms hired and will keep up our thorough cleaning regime. NHS Test & Trace QR codes will remain at entrances to both buildings for your use. Please do not enter our buildings if you are displaying Covid-19 symptoms or have tested positive.

Please continue to be cautious and considerate to help protect yourself and others. The Government’s guidance is to: • Meet in well-ventilated areas where possible, such as outdoors or indoors with windows open • Wear a face covering where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet in enclosed and crowded spaces • Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser regularly throughout the day • Cover your nose and mouth when you cough and sneeze • If you think you have symptoms, stay at home and take a PCR test • Consider individual risks, such as clinical vulnerabilities and vaccination status • Check into venues when you go out – using NHS Test & Trace • Get vaccinated if you’re over 18

RIVERSIDE PLAYING FIELD MULTI USE GAMES AREA (MUGA)

The Riverside Playing Field and MUGA survey is now closed. Thank you to all who took the time to complete the survey – we had a fantastic response! We are now analysing the results, and over the next few months our Recreation Grounds, Public Lands & Lighting Committee will consider the findings and produce some project proposals and budget costs to consider.

DEFIBRILLATOR COMMUNITY AWARENESS SESSIONS

Did you know there are currently 13 defibrillators in Stotfold (with one to be commissioned shortly)? In an emergency, would you know how to use one? The Community Heartbeat Trust will be demonstrating the use of defibrillators and explaining how the equipment works and its benefits to the community in saving precious minutes in the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest. The more people that know how to use the portable defibrillators in our community, the more chance there is of saving a life. Sessions are being held at The Greenacre Centre on Monday 11th October, 7pm or Saturday 16th October, 10am. Places are limited - please book your free place by phoning 01462 730064 or email enquiries@stotfoldtowncouncil.gov.uk
