Chester Music Festival returns to Storyhouse this summer with a series of inspiring musical events and interventions across the venue.
The exciting programme brings together special premieres, live jazz, brilliant Big Band sound, world–class classical recitals, contemporary dance, and an indie-folk trio named after a Glasgow curry house. There’s even a chance to join in the music-making yourself in the Big Storyhouse Jam-along. Meanwhile this year’s composer-in-residence is the young, multi award–winning Bulgarian Dobrinka Tabakova who creates what the Washington Times described as ‘exciting, deeply moving’ work.
