STONDECK GARBAGE ROOM REFURBISHMENT STONHARD SMELLS SUCCESS!
Stonhard Construction Solutions has completed a number of garbage room projects with property owners utilizing our ultra-fast curing StonDeck QD3 system. This high speed of cure minimizes the disruption caused during the refurbishment of this vital area of any condominium or commercial property. The StonDeck QD3 system consists of a highly reactive MMA Primer, Bodycoat, Emmerandum broadcast aggregates and two tough and durable coloured UV stable seal coats. The ultra-rapid cure of this MMA system allows for complete installation of this tough, decorative, waterproof and durable anti-skid floor finish in just one day. • Tough multi-layer system • Ultra hard aggregates for added durability • Fast cure even at low temperatures • Good chemical resistance including “Garbage Juice” • Waterproofs to protect underlying concrete • Complete system installed in one day • Can receive traffic same day The garbage room was stripped of old membrane and prepared prior to application of the StonDeck QD3 System. The floor was primed with MMA primer and after approximately 20 minutes the MMA bodycoat was applied to the floor and broadcast with Emmerandum aggregates (which are extremely hard). The floor received two coats of coloured MMA Coating to provide a decorative, chemically resistant and hard wearing seal.
