The New Brunswick Liquor Corporation is a Provincial Crown Corporation responsible for the purchase, importation, distribution, and retail activity for all beverage alcohol in the Province of New Brunswick. THE CHALLENGE The ANBL was renovating an existing store in New Brunswick and required a flooring solution that would provide certain performance characteristics as well as aesthetic appeal. The new flooring system in the retail area had to be attractive, as well as chemical and stain resistant. Slip resistance and easy cleanability were also important considerations. THE STONHARD SOLUTION To meet the client’s needs and aesthetic expectations, the Stonhard team
recommended a system of Stonclad GS, Stonkote GS4, Stontec EFC, and 2 coats of Stonkote CE4 for this facility. The client has seen a significant savings on maintenance costs since the installation of the Stonhard flooring system. They estimate a total maintenance cost savings of $3,000 - $5,000 per store, each year.
