Dear parents & carers, It was good to see many of you at the parents/ carers‘ forum last week. One of the key items for discussion at the forum was our school strategy: this sets out our aims and high level plans for improving our school even more over the coming three years. I will be sending you a parents’ version of the strategy on our return from half term. We will also be sending you an invitation to a meeting on June 4th about developing our music provision – we do hope you will be able to attend. We have welcomed our new Year 7 students and parents this week, as they come to visit us for their induction interviews. We’ve very much enjoyed meeting students whose families are new

to Stoke Newington School, and those who are already part of our school community. I have been intensely proud of our Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 students who have been taking examinations this summer. They have worked very hard in preparing for the examinations, well supported by their subject teachers and pastoral teams. They have three more weeks of examinations after the half term.
