Real estate in Central Florida continues to outperform the S&P 500 as well as several additional asset classes. Median lease prices in Orange County are up 6% year to date, while median sale prices are up 14.7%, the second highest increase since 2012.

As with many areas of the country, Orange County has experienced an increase in rental inventory in Quarter 3, with active listings up 40%. Though this increase lacks needed context, Central Florida inventory is well below normal levels when comparing the last few years. Median monthly rental inventory is still down 55% when compared to 2019 and 2020.
