Embryo / Flush•••••• Members of this sale offer their very best and to insure genetic progress the breeders represented retain embryo interest / flush rights on all females offered. This is for the life of the animal and transfers with/at ownership. It is at our expense and your convenience. Terms of this may vary on each individual offered. If you have any questions please ask before purchasing.

General Information: Telephone Bids: Telephone Bids will be handled in the most confidential manner. If you are unable to attend the sale personally, simply contact a representative of the sale prior to sale day. They will be able to assist you at ringside on sale day.

Terms and Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash. Settlement is to be made with the clerk immediately following the sale and before cattle are removed from premises. If need be, other arrangements can be discussed with RC Show Cattle prior to sale.

Registration: Cattle sell with registration papers as they are represented. Unless registration numbers are listed in the catalog, they sell with papers pending; Those will be completed and will transfer to the new owner following the sale, it may however take up to 30 days post sale to be completed. If you are purchasing a lot and need them in a juniors name by a certain date within 30 days of the sale please check with the breeder before bidding.

Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time. Every effort will be made to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending; however, neither owners, employees, auctioneer, sale manager, nor other affiliated personnel are responsible for accidents.

Health: All calves have been vaccinated with: IBR, BVD, PI3, BRSV, 7-way Black Leg, Pinkeye, Ivomec’ed and all heifers calfhood vaccinated.

Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless an animal is listed on the American Shorthorn Association’s “genetic defects status list,” the American Shorthorn Association makes no representation of any kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.

Breeding Guarantee: The Standard breeding guarantee as endorsed by the American Shorthorn and the American Angus Association’s will be followed.

Announcements made from the auction block take precedence over all printed material.

Hello friends I swear it’s the same story every year, and it gets worse as I get older, where in the HECK has the time went??? We are another year older and hopefully wiser. The wet winter like weather stayed forever, then the rain stayed, and anyone with cows fought mud from Late January to mid June…UGGGGH. Planting this year was perhaps the worst I have seen. I know of several who just finally stopped and gave up in late June and then I saw guys in southern Indiana planting beans on the 28th of July… It went from raining and cold to stupid hot with like 3 nice days in between. Now with all that said, things have sure seemed to come around, the crops in our area look great, the market prices are on the rise and market analysts claim commercial markets will be strong and see bred cattle two to three hundred higher than last year.

So the outlook of the cattle industry looks strong! The cattle at RC this year are slightly smaller in number but always high in quality.

Females that will show at the top level on the BEST jackpot circuit or go compete at a National Jr heifer show and ultimately end up as revenue producing cows!

There are some breed steers as good as you will find in the country! All these cattle traditionally trade for fair, even modest prices, which is one of the reasons so many of our cattle sell to repeat buyers.
