AEC ANGELS: DRIVING INNOVATION FROM WITHIN

In recent years, the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) space has caught the eye of ambitious tech investors and innovative software developers alike. Determined to connect the fragmented industry and drive innovative change from within, STO Building Group joined fellow industry giants, Thornton Tomasetti, Syska Hennessy, and SHoP Architects, to form the AEC Angels, a venture fund covering seed through Series B + investments.

As leaders in their respective sectors, the AEC Angels platform draws on each member’s real-world experience to assess, test, and accelerate cuttingedge technologies that have potential to make the AEC industry more collaborative, efficient, and sustainable. Since forming in 2020, the group has invested in Reconstruct, FalkBuilt, OpenSpace, TestFit, ProPlanner, EnviroPower, Rhumbix, T2D2, Assembly OSM, and Green Badger.
