PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our programs aim to develop careers, right from the start. Our apprenticeship, internship, and RPE programs bring students into the fold early, and we continue offering that kind of real-life experience and quality education through programs that evolve as their careers move forward.
Apprenticeships: We partner with local schools to recruit young people interested in working in the trades. Our apprentices work under the supervision of a superintendent for several years while we invest in helping them complete their certification or degree program. Through this program, they get on-the-job training while completing their education.
Internships: We offer internship and co-op opportunities throughout the year in virtually every discipline—from operations-based field positions to corporate service teams like finance and marketing. We put learning at the center of the intern experience, making sure their time here prepares them for the next step in their career.
Rotating Professional Engineer: Our “RPE” program is a formal rotation over two to three years across the major disciplines of field operations, safety, estimating/ purchasing, and engineering. These long-term work experiences, combined with training and networking opportunities, give those new to the industry a wellrounded view of the options for their careers, plus practical experience in all kinds of construction management tactics and techniques.
