Future of Health

On Friday 12th May 2023, St Mary’s College hosted a Health Industry Showcase with Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise.

More than 70 students from seven schools in the region attended the event and heard from guest speaker Shirley-Anne Gardiner, Executive Director of Toowoomba Hospital and Adjunct Associate Professor of the Rural Clinical School at University of Queensland.

Students also had the opportunity to speak with 20 health professionals from a variety of fields, including paramedics, exercise physiologists, nurses and more.

Congratulations to the many students who have commenced a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship in Term 1 and 2, 2023.
