VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (VET) COURSES

Certificate II in Sport and Recreation (Year 11), under the auspices of the Australian Institute of Education and Training, leading to Certificate III in Sport and Recreation in Year 12. Certificate III in Design Fundamentals, under the auspices of North Metropolitan TAFE, over Years 11 and 12); stand alone. A range of VET courses are also offered through the Elevate program for students who choose this pathway in Year 12. The Elevate program incorporates General courses (possibly ATAR courses), a VET certificate studied through the CareerLink program and Workplace Learning. In Year 11 and 12 students can choose from a suite of VET courses that are promoted at the Elevate Information session in August each year.
