Today marks the culmination of your journey at St. Mary’s Academy, and I am filled with pride for all you have accomplished and gratitude for all you have given to our community. You have made your mark on SMA in countless ways, showing us what it means to lead with heart, strength, and authenticity.

This year, as we celebrate 160 years of educating young women in Denver, it feels especially meaningful to honor you, the 150th graduating class of St. Mary’s Academy. What an extraordinary legacy you are now part of! From the moment you stepped on campus, we knew you were something special. You’ve grown into confident, compassionate, and courageous young women.

Thank you for being incredible role models. Thank you for running this place with us. Thank you for showing up for one another with kindness and support.

The faculty holds a special place in our hearts for the Class of 2025. From your academic achievements and artistic endeavors to your athletic triumphs and community service, you have consistently exemplified our Loretto School Values of faith, community, justice, and respect. You are leaders grounded in integrity, driven by purpose, and committed to building a better world. And you are ready to do just that.

The last few weeks have flown by in a blur of final projects, exams, and celebrations. I hope you found moments to slow down, look around, and soak it all in. You’ve made this place your home, and it will always be filled with teachers and SMirls who love you and welcome you back with open arms.

So please come back to visit us! Share your successes and your stories, and always remember: we are cheering you on every step of the way. You are forever SMirls.

Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished. We miss you already.

Standing tall means having the courage to remain true to my beliefs, and advocating for what is right. Valuing voices is about actively listening to diverse perspectives and empowering others to share their ideas and listen to others.”

Empowering Moments: I feel the most empowered when I realize the confidence that is gained at SMA through the four years of High School.

Something about a huggable stuffed animal with an endearing expression calms people of all ages. Like teddy bears, I can provide a sense of calm.
