HAPPY NEWS AS VILLAGE FETE RETURNS
T
his may sadly be our final edition, but it brings happy news of the village coming together once more for longawaited summer fun and friendship at the much-welcome return of our Turners Hill Village Fete & Fun Dog Show on Sunday July 18. It promises lively entertainment, barbecue, bar, plenty of welcoming stalls, afternoon teas, Fire & Rescue demos, prize raffle and all the fun of the fair. (See poster inside.) With Covid lockdown rules putting paid to last year’s event, this summer’s Village Fete will be that bit extra-special. •Happy fete days are here again Regrettably, however, continuing restrictions mean that Worth Horticultural Society’s Summer Show cannot, as usual, take place in The Ark alongside the open-air Fete.
