he St Leonards Archives are a trove of fascinating photographs and documents, which record the memories and experiences of former pupils, together forming the vibrant and varied history of our School. This image was taken in the 1950s, and the iconic skyline no doubt will spark nostalgic sentiments amongst our community of Seniors as they look back on their time living and learning in the town of St Andrews. I hope that you will
enjoy perusing this edition of the Gazette and discovering the ways in which life at St Leonards has evolved over the decades, but also how its ethos and commitment to preparing pupils, Ad Vitam, for life, has remained constant. Of course, the photographs in the Archives are brought alive by the spoken stories and reminiscences shared by Seniors who return to the campus for tours and other events.
These events have been a particular highlight of the year – after the enforced hiatus due to the pandemic, it has been fantastic to return to afternoon teas, lunches and dinners.
