YoumayremembertheParishPastoral CouncilandIconductedseverallistening sessionsinthefallof2023.Afterthoughtful reflectionandconsultation,wehave createdathree-yearstrategicplanto guideoureffortsinlaunchingnew initiatives,strengtheningexistingministries, andimplementingspecificprojectsto improveourchurchbuildingsandgrounds, includingtherectory.

Strategicplanningisessentialforsetting ourpriorities,focusingourenergyand resources,andstrengtheningour operations Itensuresthatasafaith community,weworktowardcommon goalsandachievemeaningfulresults. Effectivestrategicplanningarticulatesnot onlywherewearegoingandtheactions neededtomakeprogress,butalsowhen wehaveaccomplishedourtasks.Itwill assisttheParishFinanceCouncilin managingandbalancingtheannual budget,whileempoweringtheParish PastoralCounciltosupportourparish's progressonthesenewinitiatives

Thestrategicplancoversthenextthree fiscalyears beginningJuly1andending June30 andaddressesfourkeyareas: faithformation,liturgy,parishlifeactivities, andparishbuildingsandgrounds Each sectioncontainsgoalstatements, objectives,specifictasks,briefdescriptions, andanticipatedresourcesorcosts.

Alloftheideasandsuggestionsfromthe listeningsessionsarenowspecifictasks wehopetobeginoverthenextthreeyears. Manyofthesetaskswillevolveyearafter year,introducingnewministriesand servicestoenrichourfaithcommunity The strategicplanalsooutlinesamaintenance scheduleforimprovementstotheparish plant.Ourabilitytorealizetheseplans dependsontheoffertorycollectionsand thegenerosityofindividualdonorswho maywishtosupportspecificprojects.Your plannedgivingisvitaltobringingthis visiontolife.

DearParishioners,

Wearetobegoodstewardsofthe blessingstheLordhasgivenus,andthisis trulythefocusofhowwehandlefinances hereatSaintLadislas.TheLordhas providedgreatlysothatwecansupport thevibrantparishlifeandministrieswe enjoyhere,butalsotoprovide opportunitiestoreachoutandservethe widercommunity.

Thispastyearbroughtsignificantgrowth andnewopportunitiesforourparish We welcomedanewpastorandfilledstaff positionsthatbecameavailablefollowing anumberofretirements.Thenewstaff membershaveallowedustoincreaseour outreachanddeepenourparishlife, buildingastrongersenseofcommunity bothwithinandbeyondourchurch.

Wecontinuetoseegrowthfinanciallyover thepastFiscalYear(July2023-June2024) Wearepleasedtoreporta5%increasein offertorycollectionsfortheyear,marking continuedgrowthforthesecondyearina row.Inaddition,wesawpositivereturns fromourinvestments,whichenabledusto sustaintheSaintLadislasEndowment Fund.Thisfundisdesignatedtosupport capitalprojectsandongoingministries, ensuringthelong-termstabilityand growthofourparish

Whilewedidexperienceabudgetdeficitof $197,259.99forFiscalYear2024,thiswas primarilyduetounassignedbudgeted itemsandunanticipatedexpensesand delaysinbudgetedprojects.

Forexample,themuch-neededHVAC projectwasslatedtobeginandbe completedinFiscalYear2023 Dueto supplychainshortages,thisproject,and mostoftheexpenseassociatedwithit, wasnotreflecteduntilFiscalYear2024.

Similarly,thesalariesofnewlyhiredparish staffwerenotincludedintheoriginal budget.However,despitethese challenges,wemanagedourexpenses, andouractualexpenditureswereonly $13,940overwhatwasbudgetedforFiscal Year2024.

AswelookaheadtoFiscalYear2025,Saint Ladislasremainsinastrongfinancial position.Aswelayoutourvisionforthe nextthreeyears,weneedthecontinued supportofourfaithcommunity.Itiswith thisvisionandyoursupportthatwelive outourmissionofhavingapersonal relationshipwithJesusChristandbuilding updisciplesfortheKingdomofGod.
