August Newsletter Vacation Bible School 2018 This year, our theme for Vacation Bible School was Cokesbury’s Rolling River Rampage! VBS was July 30 - August 3 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. and we held our annual VBS Sunday on August 5 which was then followed by a potluck. We had just under 50 students join us overall during the week and averaged 38 students every night! Every night we had dinner with the students and afterwards students would have fun doing crafts, science experiments, playing in recreation, and singing our VBS songs! During our time at VBS we learned to find adventure, acceptance, joy, rest, and peace on the river with our mascot, Romper the River Otter! Thank you to all of our volunteers who made this happen and to any who helped us financially or by providing needed items. And a huge thank you to our Student Ministries team for working so hard to put together an amazing Vacation Bible School!
