This year celebrates the 55th anniversary for St. James! What a great opportunity to take the time to reflect on the beautiful history of this community. We are so proud of everything that has been accomplished!
This anniversary is also a great opportunity to pause and reflect on our mission and vision, what makes us who we are, and guides are future. We share with you highlights from 2023 –2024 that illustrate our students living out this mission daily. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Christian Montessori
Laying a foundation of faith through participation in chapel, chapel lessons, and chapel art. There’s nothing more amazing than watching the pride on a student’s face as they lead their fellow students in the Lord’s Prayer.
Exploration
Encouraging exploration through hands-on opportunities, and selfdirection. The magic that happens is amazing!
Independence and SelfMotivation
Encouraging our young learners to develop selfsufficiency and personal independence. The pride in self is such a joy to witness!
Creativity
Encouraging the students to explore and use their creativity. This artistic expression, problem solving and creative solutions builds such confidence.
Compassion
Encouraging our students to have care for others, kindness and a desire to help other people. The strong friendships that develop are a joy to watch.
