Event joins hockey with helping kids John Curry john.curry@metroland.com

News - Media personality Brent Corbeil hit the nail right on the head when talking about last weekend’s “Hockey4Wishes” event. “It’s a combination of all the things that matter,” the morning voice of BOOM 99.7 FM radio said last Saturday as he prepared to take the ice for another game in the 24 hour hockey marathon at the Bell Sensplex. The Ottawa area radio personality noted that this “Hockey4Wishes” event combines playing hockey with a great cause, namely helping kids through Make-A-Wish which grants wishes to youngsters facing life-threatening medical conditions.
