A Gull Lake Story

In the middle of North America, in the middle of Canada, in the middle of Ontario, is a beautiful place called Gull Lake.

It is where Great Grandpa Harv and Great Grandma Marion loved to be.

And they loved to watch their 3 children play in the water.

Then their children had seven grandchildren.

Grandpa Harv and Grandma Marion loved to watch them play.

Grandma Marion and Grandpa Harv are no longer here.

But sometimes you can hear them when the loons call.

They are calling because they are very happy to see great grandchildren!

Nolan is seven and in Grade 2.

He collects hockey cards, and loves reading and math.

Nathan is four.

He likes to draw, and to solve video game puzzles.

Bennie, Callie and Chico

GRACE – lives in California, which is sunny and warm and she swims and swims – She is 2.5 and loves blah blah blah CATS?

Addison is two.

She loves to dance.

Luca is 4 months old.

Sadie is a nice pillow, and Baxter watches far away.

Colin is two.

He loves tractors and construction machines, colouring and baking.

These special little people have never been all together.

In the middle of Gull Lake, there is a special place called Grandma Camp.

This is where Lulu lives in the summer.

Her dogs Mindy and Wrigley are here too.

Someday all the little people will meet here

And TeeTee will take the pictures!

Their other lake friends will be there, Kensey, Leo and Addison.

Ayla and Kai,

Hazel and Bruce,

Maeve, Cabot and Opal.

A few summers ago, Uncle Gavin made a special sign for a party.

The sign is for the three family names, Rea, Ball and Zaza.

It will be at the new party!

And what a party it will be!

There will be s’mores, and hotdogs, dough boys and rice krispie treats,

chocolate chip cookies, watermelon, corn on the cob and Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

Everyone will swim and run and paddle and splash. They will have the best day, just like their parents had when they were young.

And all day, when they laugh, the cousins will say…..

YEAH! WE ARE TOGETHER!

REBAZA!!!!

And then maybe, if they listen carefully, They will hear the loons call back.
