Introduction of a scholarship programme for year groups from S1 upwards, with awards available in Sport, Art, Music and Academic subjects to inspire and support those with a specific talent in a specialised area.
We have further developed our academic tracking systems to ensure pastoral and teaching teams have an individualised picture of each girl’s academic journey and can use this to inform 1:1 motivational mentoring conversations
Introduction of the iPQ project qualification for Remove students (achieved Gold Award in recognition) as part of our project pathway to cultivate independent study and project management skills- culminated in Project Fair attended by families
Mapped a digital skills framework across the whole school to track skills development on the whole 3-18 journey and ensure digital skills for the future are embedded across all subject areas as needed
Major review of the Personal, Social, Education (PSE) curriculum to create dedicated curriculum time for this important subject and create a specialist teaching team, supported by specialised resources for girls from our partners at Tooled Up
Successful Women in Computing event (December 2024) with 13 schools and over 30 companies in attendance. Ran in partnership with Skyscanner and Toni Scullion (dressCode). Follow up work with Scottish Government, industry leaders to contribute to national effort to promote girls in this underrepresented area of the economy
Successful ‘Learn to Lead’ and ‘Family Day’ tennis events with Judy Murray, engaging the community to promote girls’ leadership in sport and encourage active, healthy family activities.
Successful creation of ‘One School’ campus bringing Upper , Middle and Junior school together on one site with associated improvements and renovations on campus, such as new Food Technology facility, new Multi-use Games Area , Low-ropes course and refurbished Middle School zone of school.
Appointment of commercially experienced and passionate new members of Council as part of Succession Plan, including new Chair (and ex-St George’s parent)

Development of our uniform policy and beautiful campus to further promote active outdoor play for younger students eg P1-3 pupils wearing sports kit on PE days and building of a low-ropes course for Middle School age group
Development of a range of dedicated ‘quiet spaces’ on campus to ensure there is space for students to take time out during busy breaks and lunchtime
Successful extension of the ‘phone-free’ campus to Upper School benefitting pastoral wellbeing and academic focus
Review and refresh of the programme of Alumnae events and communication led by our newly appointed Head of Alumnae Relations and Development
A new, more accessible, home for the Shepley-Imlah Archive to enable to community to share in the School’s rich history, supported by the digitalisation of important resources
Expansion of school community events in collaboration with the Parent -Teacher Forum, including the Family Ceilidh, Festive Fair, May Ball and Lansdowne Legacy family event.
