OPTICS utilized its in-house rendering capabilities to design the look, and incorporated our own equipment to deliver the end result. More importantly, we seamlessly integrated these deliverables with the event management company (Company 20) to create what Host Jim Nance called “the best Men’s Salute to date”. The unfinished parking structures created another obstacle. The next day, more than 10,000 people flooded the public celebration, resulting in a one-hour extension of the festivities – a welcome success metric. Entertainment and family fun took center stage, with organized activities for kids and adults alike, all integrated into a celebration of the terminal as well as the history and future of air transportation.

Fash Bash Held to benefit the Detroit Institute of Arts, Fash Bash is a legendary event for the “who’s who” of Detroit. A pristine white 60’ runway stretched between dining tables sprinkled with hot pink and leopard fabrics. Saks Fifth Avenue sponsored the exclusive showing of designer Carlos Miele’s fall collection, prior to the New York Fashion Week reveal. The show was a mix of Brazilian entertainers, thumping music, a functional waterfall and, of course, exotic and beautifully dressed male and female models. America’s Next Top Model Naima made a special appearance as well. Post fashion show, guests moved into GM World, which was richly transformed into, "The Hot House," where guests partied the night away amid a hot deejay and suspended aerial performers.
