Before the main event on Saturday, guests from all over the world landed on our shores and SUKU arranged a special reception to welcome them .... especially our Triangular brother PJ Animals.

Around 30 members came to entertain a like number of visitors with lots of food and close to 300 bottles of beer ... a good start !

The run went from Mount Faber to Kent Ridge via the Faber jungle and the Southern Ridges Walk.

The trail then went through the canals of Portsdown and headed to Bukit Timah via the old KTM Rail corridor. There was a drink stop in between and many runners OnOn Home in the dark.

Arrived too late for the Long Run, so enjoyed the Medium Run

After crossing the PIE, the trail of the Medium and Short runs crisscrossed.

Hence, the hares were there to point the correct run direction.

The pro photographer was also there to snap shots of happy harriers, coming back from the Drink Stop and now on the easy stretch home.

An invigorating short hash run was just what a doctor would order after beer down downs in the hot afternoon sun. And there were just enough bushes & obstacles from the start to Kampong Chantek to make the run interesting.

Like the Medium Run, we bumped into the pro photograper and the hares.

Short or Medium Run ?

After the photo stop, we went into the bushes ( map point #3 ). We later crossed the PIE through a long dark 'toonel' and followed the Medium Run trail home.

Among the many guests who came, there were senior Seletar members and many from overseas, flew back just to celebrate our 35th with us.
