We were told to assemble under the bridge before 5.30 pm as there were lots of admin details to sort out before we could get the show on the road. Those running were given a head start and a shot of schnapps.

In no time, we reached our first pit stop to quench our thirst

and to wait for the hares bringing in the late comers.
