Directions to The Essex County Ground, New Writtle Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 0PG. By Road The Essex County Ground is situated in the City Centre of Chelmsford. The city has good road connections with the A12, M11 and M25. To get to our main gate, drive to New London Road. On reaching the crossroads which is controlled by traic lights, turn into New Writtle Street. Drive for approximately 200 metres and the gated entrance to the ground is on the right hand side. Parking Please note there is very limited car parking facilities at The Essex County Ground on matchdays. Parking is available at the High Chelmer multi-storey car park or in the council car park on George Street. Both car parks are within a 5 minute walk from the ground. Regular direct train services depart from Chelmsford to London, Stratford, Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich. Bus Chelmsford has a number of bus services that run directly into Chelmsford City Centre. Bus stations are situated at Chelmsford Train Station, Chelmsford Market and on London Road. Payment can be made via credit/debit card (excluding AMEX), BACS, Cheque or Cash. Q. Will the hospitality be inclusive of shared or individual tables? When booking in multiples of ten, sole occupancy of tables will be guaranteed. If booking less than 10 guests and not in multiples of ten, sole occupancy will not be guaranteed under any circumstances. Q. What is the dress code for the hospitality areas?
