Welcome...

…to another busy and exciting Autumn/ Winter here at the Princes. The season starts off in early September with some fantastic performances of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ performed by some of the most talented youngsters in the district. Early October we have a lovely afternoon with some 1940’s singa-long songs, from Hitz from the Blitz. Shortly followed by Buddy holly – a legend reborn, starring the UK’s No.1 Buddy Holly! October also sees The Happy Medium, Colin Fry celebrating 35 years! Snow White is the title for our ballet this season, which is shortly followed a few days later by a special concert with Jim Davidson & Richard Digance. The thrilling and ever popular Essence of Ireland is also returning! We’re very pleased to welcome back two top comedians, Russell Kane with his Smallness tour and in November Lee Nelson! We have also secured a world class concert with Barbara

2

Dickson, which I’m sure will be a very memorable evening. For the little ones we have two afternoon shows of Aliens love underpants in November! Lastly, we are very pleased to announce the star of our Pantomime, Peter Pan will be Jeff Brazier, star of dancing on ice and ITV’s This Morning! With Peter Pan being the most popular pantomime title and also starring Jeff, it is advised to book early to avoid disappointment! Remember to like the PRINCES THEATRE facebook page to keep up to date with new shows going on sale, special offers, regular competitions and to be the first to hear about exciting news! We look forward to seeing soon. Melissa Leek General Theatre Manager - Marketing

Will Audrey II take over the world or will Seymour and Audrey defeat it? What is it with us and smallness? We Brits love it - being tiny but fierce, close but distant. This Jedward-haired award-winning comic is the same, and he returns with a new blisteringly big-small show. Watch him share thoughts about smallness; on keeping things small when life gets big. ‘A seriously good comedian.’ The Times ‘Russell Kane delivers magic in spades.’ The Scotsman ‘A smart, probing brain lurks below the vertiginous quiff’ The Evening Standard www.russellkane.co.uk www.facebook.com/officialrussellkane Twitter: @russell_kane

Two of the most iconic performers of a generation, Jim Davidson and Richard Digance join forces this Autumn for a limited tour of venues across the country. For over a decade, Jim Davidson dominated prime time TV comedy with smash hit shows such as Big Break and The Generation game whilst, at the same time, breaking box office records across the UK with a series of sell-out theatre tours and pantomime. BAFTA nominee Richard Digance, a major TV star in his own right, is heralded by musicians and comedians alike as one of the most influential comedy song writers, performers and

Having appeared together many times throughout the eighties, travelling the world, often to entertain our troops in some of the most inhospitable places imaginable, the two come together again in celebration of great times, great memories and great shows. KING of POP THE LEGEND continues...

There are several tribute shows to Michael Jackson currently performing around the world, but only ONE production will have you believing that just for a moment... The Legend Continues. This superb production stars ‘Navi’ who is officially recognised as the world’s No.1 MJ impersonator. He is also the only tribute ever to be chosen by Michael Jackson himself. Michael selected Navi to perform at two of his birthday parties and actually gave him a standing ovation after one of his performances. Michael also invited Navi to spend a day at his home ‘Neverland’. The pair remained close and due to Navi’s uncanny resemblance to the star, he was often hired to act as Michael’s decoy/body double. Navi has since continued to work at the highest level and has performed in a whopping 57 different countries. Along with his incredible live band and dancers, he is back in the UK for a national theatre tour that is set to raise the bar in the MJ tribute world. Don’t miss this incredible show as Navi brilliantly recreates all the magical classics from the early Jackson 5 songs to mega-hits such as Thriller and Smooth Criminal in a night out the whole family will enjoy.
