WHO WE ARE

This year, Proctor Construction Company celebrates its 48th anniversary providing construction services to Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Brevard and beyond. Proctor Construction Company began as Town Island Builders, providing residential construction management exclusively to the community of John’s Island in Vero Beach. The formation of Proctor Construction Company allowed diversification from offering high end single family residential construction services to providing what the name has become synonymous with, quality, commercial real estate development and multi-family residential project enhancement of the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas. Since 1976, Proctor Construction Company has provided commercial and residential construction totaling over two billion dollars. Donald C. Proctor founded Proctor Construction in 1976.

Along with being the Chairman/CEO of Proctor Construction Company, Donald served as President of the Moorings Development Company from 1984 to 1991 and of Grand Harbor Development from 1991 to 1997. Moorings Development Company included 675 acres with 1120 units from the ocean to the river. Grand Harbor was 930 acres and included 27 holes of golf and a 144 slip marina with over 2000 dwelling units. Oak Harbor is a premier life care community consisting of 116 acres with an assisted living facility. These two award-winning projects thrived under Donald’s development and management expertise to become comprehensive hallmark communities in Indian River County, serving as models for other developments.

Donald is widely recognized as a benefactor of the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, Boys and Girls Clubs, Indian River State College, Cleveland Clinic Indian River, The United Way, cultural events and youth sports programs, and broadly promotes general building industries throughout the state. Donald currently

Designed by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates , this project included a ancillary buildings, the Gatehouse, the Range Building, and Cart Shelter. The Clubhouse structure is a cast in place concrete structure decorated with architectural steel, decorative aluminum beams and trellises, window walls and Dominican Coral Stone. Clubhouse interior has serves men and women with locker rooms, lounges, administration offices, a commercial kitchen and the Pro Shop that serves as the hub for the world renowned Grove XXIII Golf Course. PROJECT PROFILES |

The project consisted of renovations to the existing 40,000SF clubhouse to include MEP system upgrades, kitchen renovations, construction of a new bar, locker room renovations, Administrative areas, and main ballroom renovations. Additionally, the existing Bistro building was fully renovated to become a fitness area/snack bar. Lastly, sitework included construction of a clay tennis court, pickleball court, play area, parking lot, and front entry hardscape and landscape updgrades.

Proctor Construction Company constructed the Harbour Ridge Lifestyle Center in two phases. Designed by Peacock + Lewis, phase one included demolition of three structures, four tennis courts, one pool and construction of a new Sales Center building including new site utilities and installation of a parking lot. Phase 2 was the construction of the Lifestyle Center Building which includes a fitness center, spa facility and tennis pro shop complete with a food service area to accommodate the pool and tennis patrons. In addition, we added four new tennis courts and a pool with a new deck area and maintenance building.

FRENCHMAN’S CREEK NEW CLUBHOUSE

Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Frenchman’s Creek is a 2-Story top of the line Clubhouse that will serve multiple purposes. The clubhouse will have multiple kitchens and bars with the capability to host large and small events. The 1st floor of the clubhouse will include a Golf-Pro Shop with Women’s and Men’s Locker Rooms. The 2nd floor houses an extravagant ballroom, outdoor sports bar, and men’s and women’s card rooms. The Frenchman’s Creek Homeowners Association (HOA) will also be suited in the new clubhouse. The clubhouse will have a new generator and ATS with the ability to run the entire clubhouse. Overall, the Frenchman’s Creek Clubhouse will be second to none once completed and has the potential to win a few awards in the world of Clubhouse Design and Construction.

MARINER SANDS NEW CLUBHOUSE

Stuart, FL

Mariner Sands will be a new long awaited 56,000 SF, 2-Story luxurious Clubhouse located in Stuart, FL. The clubhouse will include 2 new kitchens serving both formal and informal dining rooms as well as casual functions The 1st floor of the clubhouse will include a Golf-Pro Shop , 19th hole bar , grill room as well as Women’s and Men’s Locker Rooms and Card Rooms . The 2nd floor houses 2 formal dining rooms and The clubhouse will have a new generator and ATS with the ability to run the entire clubhouse. Once completed and has the potential to win awards in the world of Clubhouse Design and Construction.
