A Brief History Named for its location, nine miles west of Winston-Salem and nine miles east of Mocksville, WinMock at Kinderton survives from the prized country estate built by S. Clay Williams, a former president of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co., circa 1929. During its prime, the original Win-Mock Farms was one of the largest dairies in North Carolina with one of the biggest and best herds of Red Poll cattle in the country.

In 2010, Sterling Events Group took ownership of the then vacant property and set forth on an extensive restoration plan to breathe new life into the historic property. Transformation was complete in May 2011 with historic character and contemporary amenities.

Featuring the former hayloft’s original thirty-foot gothic arched ceiling and nearly 5,000 square feet of open space, is our show-stopping exquisite ballroom perfect for all types of meetings and events. Its unique style of construction allows for a multitude of room setup options making it an excellent site for general session meetings and large conferences, company dinners and receptions, sales trainings and educational seminars, gala and fundraising events, plus more.

Davie & Forsyth Rooms Davie and Forsyth Rooms located on our lower level provide direct access to our outdoor terraces and are ideal for smaller groups of 100 or less.

Both meeting rooms are favorites for private luncheons and dinners, breakout sessions, sales training and educational sessions, teambuilding activities, department meetings and seminars.
