We are pleased to present The Ritchie Cup to Iain Smart, who has recently stepped down from the post of the SVVF Treasurer.

He kindly volunteered to take up this post in 2012 after Peter Mitchell had health issues.

Iain’s vehicle interest centred around Vintage Austins, Fords and a later addition of a Triumph TR6.

His contribution to the SVVF Committee, ably assisted by his wife, June, has been very much appreciated.

Despite standing down as Treasurer, we have asked Iain to remain co-opted on the SVVF Committee and assist our Chairman with a few specific tasks.

MORRIS MINOR OWNERS CLUB SCOTTISH BRANCH The branch was formed in 1981 and is open to owners of saloons, travellers, convertibles, commercials and custom Minors and those who don’t own a Minor at the moment but are interested in the car. The club attends many classic vehicle shows during the summer and puts on a stand where members can show their cars and promote the club.

Our main event is the Annual Rally which is normally held in June at a different venue every year. Members receive four issues of “Minor Chat” each year, a newsletter which keeeps them up to date with events, car sales and other members’ views. Local groups have been formed in Ayrshire.
