The 62ft Sunreef Catamaran is run by Captain Niall Reid, and his fiancée, 1st mate and Chef, Kirsty Fletcher. A tradition adopted from boats in her mother’s hometown—a small fishing village in Scotland—Miss Kirsty got her name from the daughter of the owners, Kirsty’s parents. After meeting in University, Niall convinced Kirsty to join him in his sailing jobs throughout the Mediterranean. After a successful spell in the corporate world, the lure of the sea beckoned again and for three years, Niall and Kirsty have been based on Miss Kirsty in the British Virgin Islands, conducting charters here and in the French West Indies. The couple are energetic and eager to entertain. Niall is never short of words, boasting a contagious charisma, and Kirsty brightens the atmosphere with her bubbly personality, proud to share her beautiful boat.
Miss Kirsty is the perfect vacation for those who love to soak up the sun and feel the ocean breeze kiss their skin as they coast along the open water. Her spacious deck area offers ample space to freely wonder, spread out on the foredeck, or engage with Niall on the cavernous fly bridge area upstairs, where he can identify all of the isles and panoramic vistas. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed on the lower deck, around a dining table seated for 10, or upstairs in the fly bridge area set for eight – Kirsty likes to prepare a ‘cocktails and canapés’ session for guests at sunset on the fly bridge table. She often serves canapés to match Niall’s specialty cocktail of the day. Inside Miss Kirsty, the interior has been adorned with Kirsty’s personal touches, with a colour scheme of cream, royal navy, and chocolate brown paired with a theme of deluxe beach decor. The salon presents a cosy lounging space with an indoor dining table built from wenge wood with suede cushions. The air-conditioned area is equipped with a large TV and SONOS surround system which travels throughout the catamaran.
