CAMP INFORMATION All camps are half-day and run Monday through Friday. Morning Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Afternoon Camp Hours: 1:00 - 4:00 pm If your child is signed up for BOTH a morning and afternoon session in the same week, care will be provided from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. *campers will be required to bring their own lunch. Please register your child based on the grade they will enter for the 2022-2023 school year. All camps are hosted on Atlanta Academy's campus.

PK3-2ND GRADE | TOT CAMP | $250/WEEK | TEAMS OF TOMORROW - MS. CATHIE
TOT Summer Camp is so much FUN! We will work on our ball-handling skills with our TOT-sized basketballs and silly TOT music! We will play lots of games to work on eye-hand coordination, balance, agility, and speed. We will also do cool art projects and science experiments - you do not want to miss out! Bring your friends!
PK4-2ND GRADE | TUMBLES CAMP | $300/WEEK | TUMBLES JOHN'S CREEK At Tumbles John's Creek, we're dedicated to inspiring a love of physical activity and positioning children for healthier, happier lives from an early age. Our gymnastics, sports prep, and STEM activities will jam-pack each day with fun activities based on developmental milestones. Our non-competitive camp allows each child to grow at their own pace in a safe, supportive and fun environment.

JR.K-3RD GRADE | MINI-MED AND VET SCHOOL | $270/WEEK | DISCOVER SCIENCE Campers learn about the tools doctors and veterinarians use, study how our bodies and our pets’ bodies work, get grossed out with real (not human) hearts and brains, investigate germs, and more.
1ST-5TH GRADE | CHESS CAMP | $300/WEEK | THE KNIGHT SCHOOL Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience. Kids celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful silicone Tactix Bands, funny movies, and chess clock tourneys! Laughter, fast clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summer's highlight for the current hundreds of kids who make up the awesome network of The Knight School's nationwide chess teams.
3RD-5TH GRADE | STOP MOTION ANIMATION | $250/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MR. DAVID HUGHES In this stop motion animation workshop, we will create two animated short films covering the entire creative process. Students will produce an immersive stop motion world using a host of materials such as clay, posable figures, and props! So if you have ever been wowed by the world of animation or ever wanted to create something magical, then this would be the right camp for you!

Your child will participate in various arts and craft projects with complete creative control. They will decide how they want to demonstrate their artistic style. By using their small hands, they will create “big” art that they can keep with them forever.

PK4-1ST GRADE | WORLD TRAVELER | $285/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MRS. NEELEY JONES Grab your passport. We’re heading around the world! During this week, friends will explore just a few of the many countries that share this planet. We will learn about all aspects of the country’s culture – their language, food, dress, music, and religion. We will look at pictures, try new foods, learn native dances, and possibly even talk with a resident of the country! Our jet-setting friends will create a journal to remember their trip throughout the week. Start packing your bags, and let’s get going!
JR.K-2ND GRADE | SCRATCH JR. PROGRAMMING | $325/WEEK | WHIZARA Whizara’s Scratch Junior programming course offers a fun way for young students to learn programming fundamentals as they explore and develop imaginative stories, animations and games using MIT’s Scratch Junior drag and drop visual programming interface.
3RD-5TH GRADE | CARLIN'S COOKING CLASS | $400/WEEK | PERSONAL CHEF, CARLIN BREINIG Spend the week cooking delicious foods. We’ll spend the morning making some savory and sweet foods. We’ll use fresh, seasonal ingredients, and best of all, we get to eat our delicious results when we’re done.

JR.K-3RD GRADE | MAD SCIENCE CAMP | $270/WEEK | DISCOVER SCIENCE Kids love potions. This week, young campers explore chemistry by creating potions that change color, fizz, bubble and smoke. They will also learn about polymers with water balls and slime, make non-Newtonian fluids, and study the power of magnetism.
6TH-8TH GRADE | GLADIATOR BASKETBALL SKILLS CAMP | $250/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MR. JUSTIN JONES The Gladiators Basketball Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position.

PK2-PK3 | STORYBOOK SORCERERS | $225/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MS. ZANAYSIA BATTS It takes a great deal of bravery to become a sorcerer, especially one who loves books. In this camp, we will be read five different books and then watch the movie behind each book. Once we have watched the film, we will draw pictures of our favorite characters, which allows the students to visualize each story and promote recognition.

There will be relay races, obstacle courses, and even water sports action! We will be strengthening our gross motor skills daily, while also exploring the history of the Olympics with fun crafts and interactive lessons. We will have a blast learning about different sports, traditions, and so much more! See you at the Games!
JR.K-2ND GRADE | THROWBACK WEEK CAMP | $285/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MS. COURTNEY ROBINSON This summer is a time to take it back a few decades. We will be tie-dying, disco dancing, and making throwback crafts like cassette tape art! This is the camp for you if you love neon colors, dancing, music, and photo booths!

Each day we will be exploring a new Disney character and movie. From Frozen to Repunzel, castles, and wands, come in your tiaras and let's have some Disney fun!
JR.K-3RD GRADE | MARINE BIOLOGY CAMP | $270/WEEK | DISCOVER SCIENCE Campers explore the beach and ocean this week. They learn how sand is made, experiment with water density, dissect a squid and other ocean creatures, study their favorite sharks, and more.

PK2-PK3 | SECRET LIFE OF SENSES | $250/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MS. ZANAYSIA BATTS Our 5 senses are something we use in our everyday life. Whether it's seeing out of our eyes, hearing with our ears, or touching things with our fingers/hands. During this program I will bring in different textures, colors, sizes, and sounds of various items that each student will be allowed to play with. While interacting with these items, I have high hopes each student will be able to better their knowledge of our 5 senses and how they’re important to our everyday lives.
PK4-1ST GRADE | FUN IN THE SUN! | $285/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MRS. NEELEY JONES Nothing says summer like having fun in the sun, and this week will be all about having fun and celebrating summer in style! We’ll make homemade ice cream, play some sports, create groovy tie-dye, mix-up and freeze popsicles, and enjoy a water day. Throughout the week, our friends will spend lots of time outside soaking up the sun – as you should do it in summer! Grab your sunscreen and sunglasses, and bring on summer!

KRISTIN HOCHBURGER We will cook, build, create, play, engineer, experiment, paint, mold, and tinker our mornings away in the Innovation Lab, Art Room, and the Chicken Coop! JR.K-1ST GRADE | LITTLE STORYTELLERS | $280/WEEK | ATLANTA ACADEMY'S MS. VERONICA MITCHELL The Little Storytellers summer camp will allow your little ones to bring stories to life through the art of theatre. The kids will learn about all aspects of theatre through crafts, games, and their own production. Throughout the camp, we will be working towards a play based on the book, "Fancy Nancy and the Posh Pup". On the final day, the students will perform the play, incorporating all of the crafts and vocabulary we learned throughout the week.
JR.K-3RD GRADE | GEOLOGY AND PALEONTOLOGY | $270/WEEK | DISCOVER SCIENCE Campers investigate characteristics of rocks and gemstones, learn about crystallization as they create their own “geodes,” study fossils and learn how they formed, and dig like a paleontologist as they search for prehistoric life forms.
