The investor's requirement was a wine cellar with a lounge and accommodation that would fit in with the surrounding buildings.
Therefore, I chose an architectural solution with three interconnected gable roofs that harmoniously relate to the neighbouring houses
On the first floor there is a common room with a small kitchen, toilet and storage space under the staircase. There is also a wine cellar and a rentable room with its own sanitary facilities. The second floor offers accommodation with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room connected to the kitchen Part of the attic is adapted as a sleeping area From the living room there is direct access to the terrace with a seating area, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a fireplace.
The whole design combines traditional form with modern elements to ensure that the building meets the necessary requirements while respecting the surrounding environment

The client wished to to breathe new life into their parents' house without affecting its original character
The primary goal of the renovation was to improve the house's energy efficiency by adding insulation and replacing the windows.
As part of the modifications, I removed various additions and accessories that interfered with the purity of the original architecture The result is a cohesive aesthetic inspired by the timeless elegance of First Republic villas
The facade has been given a simple white render, complemented by contrasting green windows, railings and cladding These elements add elegance and lightness to the house
The interior has undergone only minor modifications to improve the functionality and comfort of the inhabitants.
The renovation has refreshed the house without departing from its original character

AXONOMETRY original design

The study focused on creating a harmonious environment and integrating the public space into the context of the surrounding buildings A balanced combination of paved surfaces and green spaces defines the area, blending functionality with natural aesthetics The central feature of the design is a series of triangular green areas, carefully shaped to reflect the geometry of the study site and the architectural lines of nearby structures.
A key highlight of the space is the prominent visual axis linking Keltičkova Street with St Wenceslas Church This axis not only anchors the design but also establishes the church as a dominant focal point At the end of the road there is another important element - a café with a terrace, which is part of a multifunctional building. The terrace is designed to provide comfortable seating while offering a panoramic view of Ostrava A spacious green area will be reserved next to the café, which will serve as a place for more informal seating and relaxation As part of the design, community gardens for the residents of the building and private gardens for individual apartments were also proposed.

SITUATION of community and private gardens

This family house combines modern design with traditional village principles, ensuring it harmonizes with its surroundings. Therefore, a simple rectangular shape was chosen with a gable roof that adapts to the surrounding buildings The combination of traditional materials such as stone and wood and the use of modern elements gives the house a distinctive character
The compact structure is "hollowed out" to create functional spaces The mass is selected for the parking and terrace areas. A northern parking area, screened with vertical wooden slats, separates the cars from the garden while acting as a windbreak Wooden slats also adorn the gables, adding texture and brightening the stone-clad facades Two terraces enhance the house’s connection to the outdoors. The western terrace, linked to the living room, creates a sheltered social space with privacy and a direct garden connection. The southern terrace, accessible from the private areas, is also shielded with slats for added seclusion while maintaining garden views
This thoughtful design balances modern aesthetics with tradition, offering functionality and a strong connection to the surrounding environment

The main aim of the proposal is to unify the urban fabric, repurpose unused spaces and return public space to the people The area is currently a busy intersection, crossed by Pražská Street and Sokolská Street, which is the main traffic route of Znojmo. The surrounding area is made up of unused greenery and the public spaces are mainly used as parking lots I propose to thicken the area with buildings that will be mostly residential, next to which, the new financial office premises will be expanded, a new health centre will be built, and the capacity of the kindergarten will be increased by a new building An office building with a supermarket and car park will be built in the centre of the site to allow visitors easy access to the centre. The landmark former municipal spa will be transformed into a wellness centre with a sauna world, complimented by a new extension with a sports court The outdoor areas of the spa will be revitalized and fully utilised. Square will be created with a water feature depicting the flow of the River Dyje in the territory of Znojmo The parterres of the buildings will be used for shops and services to liven up the area.

The L-shaped building is composed of two separate blocks connected by a terrace over a corridor connecting the garden to the street.
Building A has commercial rental space on the first floor, a bike storage, storage, main staircase and an elevator that provide access to all floors, including the basement On the second to fourth floors there are residential units of various layouts, mainly mainly one and two room apartments, including barrier-free apartments for people with reduced mobility. All residential units are accessible by the elevator
In building B there are apartments similar to building A In addition, there is a proposed physiotherapy room on the third floor and a chapel on the fourth floor. There is also a public terrace on the top floor which can be used by the residents of the building All residential units have balconies and cellars
The entire project is designed with an emphasis on functionality, accessibility and comfort for residents and visitors.

In my project, I developed a modular train platform system that can be adapted to various environments and station sizes
The design primarily uses concrete, as it was the main material requirement from the investor, a concrete processing company.
The system is based on a 20-meter module, ideal for smaller stations with one or two tracks By multiplying this module, the platform can accommodate larger, busier stations. In addition to this modular platform, I also designed a simple cell with the necessary facilities such as toilets and an enclosed waiting room.
Simplicity was a key focus in the platform design. The primary requirement was modularity, so I ensured that the modules could connect seamlessly and be configured in multiple ways The main motif was the curve or wave, which appears in the roofing, but also in the interior of the utility cell, creating a cohesive and elegant aesthetic across the entire structure

The commission for the concrete platform also included designing the facade of the parking house, with concrete as the primary material requirement.
For the parkhouse, I drew inspiration from the wave motif, which I also used for the roofs of the train platforms On the facade it will be used in a lighter version
Vertical waves will cover the Parkhouse on all sides. To avoid the facade being too heavy, the individual waves will be separated from each other by gaps By grouping these waves and gaps together, I introduced a dynamic rhythm to the design
Beneath these concrete waves, the entire facade will be wrapped with a red woven metal facade that will unify the entire character of the building.
To create a contrast and brighten up the grey concrete used on the train platform, I proposed to cover half of the facade with dark red paint. This bold colour is intended not only to create a more dynamic appearance, but also to allow the parkhouse to become an easily recognisable landmark for the public In consideration of the surrounding environment, the side of the facade facing residential buildings was left in its original muted grey tone. This provides a calmer appearance from the residential side which is more pleasing and less striking to the eye

Interior
second year – bachelor´ s degree (2020/21)
We had to define the purpose of the object and design the interior.
I designed the house for a family of three - a couple with one child.
The main entrance is located on the north side of the building, leading into an entrance hall with ample storage space On the right side there is a private area with bedrooms. One for the parents, the other for the child. Both bedrooms are thoughtfully divided into two zones: a sleeping area and a work/activity area, separated by a bookshelf
Each room also has access to a shared private terrace
In the second part of the house, there is a living room connected to the kitchen and dining room, freely flowing through the terrace to the outdoor garden area
Between the private and communal spaces, there is a shared bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower, along with a separate toilet.
